The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

As a fellow first year university student, I saw Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List as something I could relate to as I was that age, and that their friendships and relationships would be something I would aspire to. I originally looked at this film and thought it would be a cheesy friendship film where they went through struggles trying to adjust with the 'real world', ultimately ending up at the same place as they were at the start: and it was. But it was so much more! The film went through many issues that we face, as budding adults, and what we have to learn to hold on to and let go of. It breaks the illusions of fantasies, and the idea that we all stay at the same stage throughout our lives. Ultimately, it was a very good and surprisingly emotional film that made me evaluate my life, something any good film should do.

This movie was brilliant in every aspect. Every scene was shot so beautifully and the fact that it takes place in New York is even better. Both Pierson Fode and Matthew Daddario did an excellent job and I loved their characters. Victoria Justice is so beautiful and one of the best young actresses out there, she nails it in every scene and I'm so happy that she's doing movies like these. I've been a fan of hers for a very long time and I think this is her best movie. The story is very original since it has never been told before and I think this is a very good adaptation of the book, which by the way it's so awesome. You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll end up loving it. You'll also fall in love with Naomi, Ely and Gabriel which are all amazing characters. Both Naomi and Ely have such a great style and of course a very cute friendship. So yeah, everyone needs to see it because it's great! Loving the soundtrack as well!

I am usually super cynical when it comes to movies like this, but I found it to be adorable. The characters are charming, Victoria Justice is someone that my kids watch constantly but her role in this was fantastic, and Pierson Fode is the perfect Ely. The plot continues to progress for this couple with an interesting dynamic. A lot of titles like this seem to be super predictable, and while there are times where you might feel as if you know exactly what is coming, you get a surprise and get sucked right back in. It really shows the many forms of love. I will definitely be recommending to all of my friends...

Movies like these usually aren't my thing, but I actually enjoyed this film! Both Naomi and Ely were relatable, both as individuals and as best friends, which made the film even more interesting. Even the situation between their parents was realistic. I really admire how real they made everything seem, making it easier for the audience to understand and relate to their own lives.Things between friends can get pretty sticky sometimes, especially when the friends are growing up, figuring out their identities, and trying to find their way in the world. The film really showed how hard this transition can be for young people of this generation, which was really cool. With the complications that come with school, family life, and the transition from being a teenager to becoming an adult, it can be easy to become overwhelmed and lost in the changes. But this film teaches the importance of embracing life, learning from mistakes and messed up situations, and moving forward.Overall, this movie teaches young people a great lesson on love, friendship, and growing up. Good writing, good actors, good plot - good movie!
