The greatest movie ever made..!
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

View More*** This review may contain spoilers *** I am absolutely amazed by the many, completely undeserved bad reviews. Especially the critics concerning the storyline, hm, sorry but, Ra. One was not meant to be a serious film, it's half action, half comedy, half sci-fi (I know 3 half's), script/story-wise not at all different from lots of celebrated Hollywood superhero, or action movies. As some other reviewers here, worded their views so much better than me, allow me to repeat their opinion, which is also my opinion: shoaib104: "Credit, in fact is due to all who worked on the visual aspects of the movie. All the characters were presented brilliantly well. The city backdrop, the flying cars, the collapsing buildings, etc were all done to perfection. From the technical standpoint, it's difficult to find flaws in the movie making. It is of a level that Indian audiences have only known to exist in movies from across the Atlantic. For this reason alone, the film deserves a special mention in the pages of Bollywood history." knightthatkills: "Respect Ra.One for what it is, a FUN, true to Bollywood Sci-fi movie. Bollywood is best known and celebrated for its masala movies and this is one of the best with the added ingredient of Sci-fi."
View Morethe movie is mixed to reaction.if you are looking for some old king khan film, with good story's do not go for Ra one . it lacks story the graphics and effects are outstanding and amazing,it takes us to Hollywood atmosphere.the train seen in this movie is outstanding as compared to robot.the acting of sharukh as the g.one is nice but other disappoints.the villain Arjuna ram pal is outstanding the direction is not bad also/the problem is that of its story line and copying of scenes from Hollywood movies.totally i can say that it is a good movie to watch especially for children.as compared to other Indian super hero movies like krrish, robot ,Ra-one is good.
View MoreWhen it comes to ambition, determination and hard work - there isn't really anyone in India that can compete with SRK. Being Indian cinema's biggest success story, SRK and his films come with huge expectations and anticipation. So it hurts just that much when you see a big film fail.More on that in a bit. I want to say that when Ra One was announced, I was skeptical. Not because it was SRK as a super-hero, I had bigger concerns. My bigger concern was director Anubav Sinha, who I think is amongst the most untalented directors. If you do not believe me, watch Cash and now, Ra One. However, when the release was coming near - I had started to expect more from Sinha. Then, I see this movie which is full of great action sequences, stunts, music and actors. What Ra One lacked most was what a film actually needs - A script, a soul.Shekhar is a video game designer who is out to always impress his son. He is married to Sonia, who for some reason is writing a ridiculous book on abusive language. To impress his son, Shekhar makes a video game character where the bad guy never loses. That game character, Ra One, somehow comes to real life and kills Shekhar and is now out to get Lucifer, the user name of Prateek, Shekhar's son. Circumstances lead Sonia and her son to India where Ra One will follow them, but Ra One will have to go through the protector and good guy of the video game - G One, a lookalike of Shekhar. The story on paper sounds good, in fact, great. To translate that on screen is a total different thing. Ra One seems like a film filled with action scenes but a lack of emotions. Also, how exactly does Ra One get out of the game? Why is he killing everyone? How does he reach India from London? There are some good things about this film. The music is just awesome. The visuals, effects and stunts are Hollywood-like. The film is visually brilliant. Sadly, the positives don't have much to do with the script.Writing is weak. Characters are not well developed except, maybe of SRK. There are a few good lines, though.Vishal-Shekhar's music is out of this world. The songs are all lovely! Dildaara is my pick. Criminal and Chamak Challo are outstanding as well.Anubhav Sinha's direction is sore. I don't know what is in this guy, but he cannot make a good film.SRK has the charisma that is so strong that it shows in a lifeless character of G-One. SRK holds the film together, barely, since it's such a bad movie.Kareena and crew all do okay. Arjun Rampal is convincing.Ovearll - A disappointment and surely a film that could have been better. Sadly, Hindi Cinema still does not have a proper superhero. (Krrish was crap too)
View Moreyou have to see this it s a very very great movie.I don,t have words. The film follows Shekhar Subramanium (Khan), a game designer in London living with his wife (Kapoor) and son (Verma). He designs a motion sensor-based game in which the villain is more powerful than the hero. The villain escapes from the game and begins to track down Lucifer (Verma), the only player to have defeated him. Ra.One was co-produced by Eros International and Red Chillies Entertainment, and was expected to release on June 3, 2011. However, the release was delayed to the Diwali weekend of October 26, 2011 due to extensive post-production work. it was announced that the film would be converted to 3D. Red Chillies VFX incorporated the visual effects under the supervision of Hollywood effects technician Jeffrey Kleiser. Ra.One cost an estimated 125 crore (US$24.94 million), making it Bollywood's most expensive film at that time, and India's second-most expensive film after Enthiran. A record amount of 52 crore (US$10.37 million) was spent on marketing. The marketing included a nine-month publicity campaign, brand tie-ups, merchandise, theme-based video games and extensive viral marketing. However, several problems including censorship, soundtrack leaks and copyright issues caused concerns that the film would not be ready for release.
