I like Black Panther, but I didn't like this movie.

Am I Missing Something?

In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I picked this title up in a Dollar General bin, which is something I enjoy doing to find bad movies. This one isn't bad. It's British... which pleasantly surprised me (I had read nothing about this movie obviously), the humor was Britsih, settings British... how refreshing to not see a Sci-Fi movie set in a big city... just normal people. It had Gillian Anderson which is never a bad thing. The story was simple, and the ending obvious, but still... It was fun, the effects weren't bad, the dialogue had humor and Ben Kingsly as a bad guy made me smile. It's 90 minutes of unpretentious fun, try it.

Having seen a trailer and looking it up here, i hesitated first to go and see it but i finally did and was not disappointed. The story may seem a little thin but the actors and the special effects is not bad for independent film. Ben Kingsley is excellent and you could not tell that he's past 70. Many of the others acts well and i see no overacting. The pace is changing throughout the film and i enjoyed it. I found it entertaining with a good mix of action and humor and not relying too much on special effects but it does feel a bit short at times. I hope this film gets another chance at the video store since i think it deserves more credit then it got on the cinema. It's good acting and good filming locations. Worth watching.

Unbelievably bad. Insultingly so. Not camp, or funny, or art house, or anything of the sort, just bad. Bad effects. Horrible plot. Atrocious acting. Etc. Sir Ben, what were you thinking? I saw him on a talk show the other night and wish the host would have asked him about this turd. Embarrassing to everybody involved, including me the viewer. The crux of the movie is that super advanced robots have taken over the world and install chips in the heads of the few remaining humans to keep tabs on them. If people go outside without permission, the robots kill them. That is until some young children figure out that all you have to do to override the chips is to zap them with some low voltage electricity and then you're free to wander around all you want. Really, no government scientist, PhD in electronics, crazy survivalist, etc. had every tried tinkering with the robot control chips before? And then to think that some 6 year old could thwart the super advanced alien race that has already taken over this world and others? And on that note, robots and aliens are different things. Why is this movie about really simple robot aliens w/o any mention of actual aliens? Weak!

This is a real piece of crap. Many holes in the plot and the cinematography is as bad as hell.If your time has a value don't watch this movie. Get names such as Gillian Anderson and Ben Kingsley isn't enough when there isn't a storyThe storyline is stupid beyond anyone (above 4 year old) belief. The dialogs are moving between bad to embarrassingly cheesy. The acting is so so. The CGI is outdated. There is very little good to write about it. Totally Disappointeddon't Watch it.
