This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Safety Not Guaranteed is not a laugh-out-loud comedy, but it is an amusing comedy. Aubrey Plaza plays herself with a twist of emotion and Mark Duplass gives a very convincing performance as an amiable crazy person. This movie has heart, it has quirk, it has cheese and it appropriately balances the three. Some may be put off by the strangeness of it all, but that's just the government implant in your brain talking.

If time travel was possible I wonder if there is a timeline where Aubrey Plaza won an Oscar for La La Land and Emma Stone starred in Mike and Dave need Wedding Dates!Three Seattle journalists go to investigate a story about a classified ad where a man seeks a companion for time travel. The ad was placed by Kenneth (Mark Duplass) a paranoid eccentric store clerk. Darius (Aubrey Plaza) is rather taken by him and becomes less cynical as she gets to know him more.Jeff (Jake Johnson) is using the story as an excuse to track down a former high school girlfriend. Arnau (Karan Soni) is the nerdy virgin from India. (Obviously no one told anyone in Hollywood that in a country with 1 billion people, some of the guys must be having sex.)This is quirky low budget independent film. The last act actually makes it appealing and deep down a lot of the characters are likeable. It does not have much science fiction elements but there is some talk of Star Wars movies, in fact there is a lot of talking as little else happens in the film. The film was directed by Colin Trevorrow, his next movie was to direct the bigger budget Jurassic World. He has now also co-witten a Star Wars movie!

Darius works as an intern at the office of Seattle Magazine. An unusual newspaper ad got Reporter Jeff's attention and he decided to follow up the story. Jeff heads to investigate along with two interns Arnau and Darius.Basically, This ad has appeared in a real newspaper and it was featured on Jay Leno's The Tonight Show. The only question that drives the movie is whether the time machine news is real or not?. If you are searching for a science fiction movie kind of stuffs, You are looking at the wrong place. Overall, it may not be a great movie, but it's a nice enjoyable flick.

The man, who is recruiting someone to go back in time with him, meets a girl. She is a reporter observing his mysterious plan, asks him to come together. They are getting closer gradually, and in the end, they successfully go back in time. The story itself is interesting and exciting but there is a little disappointment with regard to the ending. As I mentioned above, it came to the conclusion with their successfully achieved time-traveling. Given that it is basically human drama, it is spectacular that the story suddenly switches the contents to the scientific fiction. It is well enough to attract the attentions of audience. However, it leaves a lot of questions unanswered: how does he invents the time-machine, when are they exactly heading for and what about the story of sub-characters. Considering it keeps these matters vague, you can say the story is poorly finished. To sum up, you can enjoy yourself with the movie except the very last part of the story, which slightly let me down.
