In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

This was a surprisingly good film. Seen through the eyes of a private who initially wanted out of the army, this film shows the Iraq conflict from all angles. It's a slow burner with numerous scenes of high tension, combat action, understanding and sadness. Filmed well, acted well, written well, and cast well this is an intelligent war film. A definite 7/10 for me.

I Loved It But Wish They Used The Abrams I'm Trying To Find A Good Desert Storm, Operation Desert Shield Movie. It Was Biggest Ground And Air Armor Invasion. A10 in the air, armor on ground.

I laughed a few minutes into this movie. I deployed there almost a year after this movie was set. They had blast protectors all around the turrets of the M1026s which were not even uparmored M1114s. Get your stuff right man. I was happy to see the uniforms were good but nothing else to include close air support near a mosque.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. The movie seems like it drags in places, but don't be fooled, it's all part of the end ploy! Keep watching and you will discover a movie that has good and evil set straight in it's sights. But rewards those patient enough with a grand diversion of the 'typical' good vs evil that is well worth the wait.A 'classic' (diversive) edge of your seat thrill ride.
