To me, this movie is perfection.

Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

The acting in this movie is really good.

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

When two male musicians witness a mob hit, they flee the state in an all-female band disguised as women, but further complications set in. Some like it Hot showcases that Marilyn Monroe was a pretty good looking woman but her acting in here was a bit too childish and the typical dumb blonde that talks weird also i've seen like millions times better movies with the exact same plot done the whole disguise thing much better and much more funnier cause this wasn't that funny as it might have hoped or even aimed to be in the end of the day. because it is enough to see it. and to discover the atmosphere , the humor, the love stories and the science of a great director to give a complete film, out of clichés, vulgar solutions. a film like an ice cream. flavors, nuances, music, performances, costumes and a form of romanticism so subtle, delicate and seductive than transforms this film in a great artistic experience. because each detail has its perfect place. because the meet of Marlyne Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon seems like a Rubick cube. so, a gem.

A couple of days ago I saw this movie for the very first time. It was an extra credit film for my Film History class that I am taking currently. I have seen many black and white films before but nothing compared to this one. From the first scene to the end credits my mind was on a complete roller coaster ride. I was very impressed with the main characters and how the actor/actresses playing them held their own throughout the entire film. The way the two main actors portrayed the two women throughout the entire was really impressive. This is a film I would recommend because it combines humor, suspense, romance, and violence in a unique way that really captures the time period it was filmed in. I can clearly say that this film for me was really enjoyable and nothing like I expected it to be. I hope it is enjoyable for others as much as it was enjoyable for me!!!

Jack Lemmon has the most bewildered, frantic sensibility about him. And in this film he is able to use it to the Nth degree. Tony Curtis has always been a puzzle to me, but the chemistry that he exhibits with Lemmon makes this the biggest hoot of the fifties. Throw in Marilyn Monroe, with her dizzy blond routine, but with charm, and gentleness, and you have an unstoppable comedy. With the men in drag attempting to invade the place where the girls are and Joe E. Brown (a very strange man to say the least) and a great script and it really works. I will never forget the final line of the movie as Lemon sits next to Brown with the most incredulous look. See this if you haven't it will make you laugh from beginning to end.
