Thanks Netflix for letting me get a proper look at this drivel. Others have set down why this is a film to avoid so better you spend your time reading a few of them than 2 hours with this dross. "Naval Air Force"? WTH? Three pilots each ticking the PC boxes, cliches in this script abound especially the feeble attempt to sound like real aviators who this film totally insults. When there are fine technothriller books and writers out there why this cartoon junkery?

So this is not a great movie but it's better than the majority of bad reviews.Yes the plot is so-so, yes it's just lots of action with no major plot twists. But the fact is if you go into it knowing this, it's a fun movie with action, explosions and more.Were you a fan of xXx (no not porn, the action movie)? Then you will like this. It's not a movie to watch with the girl friend or wife, it's strictly a guy flick.I would not pay $11 at the theater to watch it but it's worth a rental or free on TV watching especially if you are in the mood for blowing stuff up type movie.

Looking at the synopsis for STEALTH on this page you're struck as to how derivative it is . A new software for a highly advanced jet strike aircraft starts becoming self aware . It's not a million miles away from the premise from THE TERMINATOR movies . The original movie of that franchise still remains a classic so I gave this movie a chance but as I was watching I became more and more reminded of these cheap and cheerful movies that are forever cropping up on the SyFy Channel . Don't be taken in by the relatively big name cast because like so many films such as TRANSFORMERS because a big budget movie still needs a story The film starts with a trio of top guns carrying out a strike mission behind enemy lines which is not dissimilar to an opening hook you'd expect to see on a Syfy movie production and to be fair the production values of this scene are relatively impressive . In a Syfy production we'd quickly get the self aware computer program taking over the new super-weapon but instead does try and concentrate on the characters but I'm guessing that's because you've got Foxx , Biel and Shepard in the lead roles and you've got to make them earn their pay hence you're halfway through the movie and the plot still concentrates on bombing bad guys . Likewise the US navy allowed access to the production so you've got to show off the hardware that you too can fly if you join the navy From an action point of view some people might be disappointed that there's not enough action and I'd possibly agree but by the same token you can get too much brainless action . What is the major disappointment was that the screenplay was written by WD Richter the screenwriter of the remake of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS and BRUBAKER both brilliantly scripted films and one would have hoped for a better film knowing this . As it stands STEALTH is a film not markedly different from a SfFy channel productioneven the science fiction elements don't really come to the fore

I've heard a lot of bad things about this movie, so I did not watch it until now. I decided to watch it, because there was nothing else on TV. I am now writing this review with my TV off. Movie still have about hour and forty minutes to go. Stealth is the worst movie ever. I would rather have my head kicked in, then watch this movie. I would rather watch whatever, honestly,there is nothing worse than this movie. Nothing!Horror, and actors are not that bad. I mean, there must be a law against this sort of movie. We need some reverse SOPA, to protect us from movies like this. Pain, pain, pain.
