View MoreOne of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
View MoreThis is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
View MoreIf you hike the mountains, you'll always remember it! Easy done, nothing's extraordinary but the idea is amazing.
View MoreNot nearly as good as the Blair Witch Project, lacks the suspense and unbelievable as a story. The Russian Newsfootage (in Russian) added a farce to the film that may have brought some humor but needed better editing. The real story is much more exciting and certainly worthy of a better homage.
View MoreTo perfectly summarize the movie "Devil's Path" using it's very own quote: "You followed a step-by-step plan that killed nine people. What did you think was going to happen?" Don't expect too much from this movie, but it's a decent one nonetheless. The found footage trope has been beaten to the ground by this point, so it does its best to provide an interesting story that only picks up in the latter half of the film.
View MoreBased on the true story of The Dyatlov Incident, Devils Pass is a pretty interesting watch. The Dyatlov Pass Incident, a genuine Russian mystery from 1959, is about nine hikers who were found dead in the Ural Mountains.A mixed group set-out to film and retrace the steps of the original hikers on the mountain Kholat Syakhi, also known as the Dyatlov's pass. The American Hikers J. P. and Audy are hired as expert climbers for the journey. While, the student film crew consists of Holly, Denise and Jensen.Prior to the hike, the team find out that more bodies were found dead than the reported nine, which only helps to add to the conspiracy that the Russian Government might have been involved in sweeping facts under the rug. With believable acting and an interesting story, while being based around true events, Devil's Pass is definitely worth a watch for horror fans and conspiracy theorists.
