Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

Alex Luster (Gabrielle Haugh) cares for her maternal grandmother Anna Luster (Lin Shaye). Not sure how those surnames worked out. She discovers the Midnight Man game in the attic and plays it with a friend while folks drop in after midnight. The Midnight Man is a pagan demon, who like slugs, don't like salt. Robert Englund cameo is the sell point. This film is fair, but not as good as the original Irish version which is included in the DVD. Lin Shaye was good. You can keep the rest. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. English and Spanish subtitles.

I wanted to see a nice horror before i go to bed, and my friend told me to watch this one, when i saw the rating, i expected it to be awful, so i thought, never mind i wanted something so i can get to sleep faster, but the movie kept my attention whole time, so its nice horror to enjoy !
