TrueHello

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Agree entirely with what the other guy wrote, peanut butter solution is one of those movies that you watched when you're a kid and want to tell the world about it now but just can't quite get the title off the end of your tongue. I asked heaps of people and nobody knew...And then it hits you! Seriously one of the most bizarre movies you'll ever watch but it will never leave you. It's definitely one of those movies that you just don't quite 'get' when you're a kid but it has that ability to always make you smile when you think back about it.. Truly a classic from the 80's!!!It's even still good enough to let your kids of today watch it.. Although they may end up calling you a dag at the end of it because you're also sitting cross legged a metre away from the screen next to em ;)

OMG!!!! Everyone thought i was crazy when i talked about this movie..good to know it really exists!!! I do have another movie no one seems to remember. IDK the title but i know it involved two kids (brother and sister) who were free falling and trapped in bubbles for such a long time that they end up just sitting there looking bored, waiting to hit the ground. This goes on until some scientist turns off the bubble machine and they realize they were only 3 feet off the ground. It's been a while since i've seen it so the details are sketchy but thats all i remember. It scared the crap out of me b/c my overly analytical child brain figured they would have suffocated after being in the bubble so long. if anyone knows the title please let me know.

I can not believe how many people suffered from the same experience as me. As I tried to explain the following to friends often, I would get a blank stare in response : "A kid goes into a house for some reason, i think he falls backwards, gets amnesia and loses his hair. He glues a wig on his head, plays soccer, it gets ripped off, he runs home. He tries an experiment, his parents destroy it because it contains like dead flies and he is trying to grow his hair back. Then these ghosts or ancestors of his, -something give him another chance at the recipe and he gets it to work, he looks in a toaster at his reflection and his hair is growing...it grows way too fast" BLANK STARES.

I cannot believe what "5532" had said about this movie, it was the same reaction as mine. When I was little I remembered a movie about the characters spreading peanut butter on their head, but I couldn't remember why, I just remembered that it had stuck with me for about 15 years. I could never remember the title to this movie, but like some movies you get a certain smell or sense when you watch it. I have yet to locate this movie but I am trying. I was so infuriated with myself that I couldn't think of the title to this movie that I went to google and typed in Movie Peanut Butter on Head and it came back with "The Peanut Butter Solution." There is definitely something strange about this movie that has lurked me for over 15 years and I have no clue what it was. I hardly even remember the movie. I recall watching it with my sisters when I was younger but when I went to ask them if they recall it they had no clue what I was talking about. I am just soo pumped I found it. What is more odd was that people have had the same dilemma as mine. Well hope its as good as I remember or at least I might be able to re-visit some past memories.
