slightlymad22 Shrek 2 (2004)Plot In A Paragraph: Princess Fiona's parents invite her and Shrek to dinner to celebrate her marriage. If only they knew the newlyweds were both ogres.I don't think this one is quite as brilliant as the first one, but it's still a seriously fun time. Once again Murphy steals the movie, although he has some serious competitor in Antonio Banderas' Puss In Boots. If anyone asked me if I was a fan of Banderas, I'd reply "I don't mind him" but a lot of the time I enjoy his performances!! I liked the Desperado and Spy Kids movies, he also stole Assassins from Sly Stallone and was one of the plus points of Expendables 3. It's no surprise he would retreat to the character of Donkey every couple of years, as in an interview Murphy joked that the character Donkey, was so popular that had he died that year, newspapers would have probably used a picture of Donkey instead of Eddie Murphy.Murphy joins Tom Cruise as the only actors to have two highest grossing movies of the year (From the look backs I have done). Shrek 2 was the highest grossing movie of 2004. Grossing a whopping $441 million at the domestic box office, comfortably beating out Spiderman 2 and Passion Of The Christ.

Smoreni Zmaj Sequels usually suck, but this one kicks ass. One of the best and most entertaining cartoons I ever saw. The only thing that bothered me was music which, although good, in my opinion mostly doesn't fit the movie.9/10

Mr-Fusion Although largely a fun endeavor, "Shrek 2" is in full franchise mode, trading in some of the original's spark for a dose of cynicism. The story's a retread of the inner beauty theme from the first movie; one that grinds things down once Shrek becomes human, and picks right back up when Gingerbread Man shows up. The three leads are still harmonious, and the new characters are also enjoyable; but aside from one really good cat joke, it feels like a step down.6/10
