Too much of everything
Boring
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
View MoreYes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
View MoreThe ring two is better than rings dont listen to the haters and the critics they didn't watch the new version of that movie. The old versions was not good but the new version was very much better then theatrical version
View MoreI really enjoyed this as well I wouldn't really call it a sequel it's more of a continuation of the story because Rachel and Aidan return this time the story is different though the only part that mentions the videotape is the beginning where this high school kid tries to get his girlfriend to watch it so she would die instead of him but it didn't work because she didn't look so he ended up dying anyway. The main story of this one is about Aidan and how he is possessed by Samara you know he's been possessed because he starts to get cold plus he also slips into a deep sleep or a coma for awhile then when he wakes up he doesn't act like himself that also gives it away and he also makes a psychiatrist that just wanted to help him kill herself that was kind of disturbing to watch after that he leaves the hospital without being discharged we also have another character called Max in this film but he isn't in it too long but Rachel asks for his help he tries to help best he can before Samara kills him I say Samara because it's her spirit in Aidan's body but one of the best scenes while he is still alive is when Rachel gets him to look at photos of Aidan where she had notices Samara in the background now I thought that was pretty creepy this film doesn't fall short on the creepiness or intrigue but the first one was much better for that I still enjoyed this though was a good continuation and look forward to seeing Rings which hasn't come out here yet but will soon I give this an 8/10 and I highly recommend this for fans of the first film.
View MoreThis movie is the continuation of The Ring, picking up six months where the first story left off. Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) and her son Aiden (David Dorfman) leave Seattle to live in a small rural town, away from all the horror. But, she hears that high school student Jake (Ryan Merriman) watched the tape and dies, leaving his girlfriend Emily (Emily VanCamp) to cope. Therefore, Rachel then realizes she once again has to save Aidan from the evil Samara (Kelly Stables).Like the first movie, this film will grip your heart with fear and tug at your mind. This movie's scary images, from the horrible expressions of the victims' faces to the scenes of the evil videotape, will send chills down your spines. You will find answers to questions left unresolved from the first movie, making the entire story come full circle. And, like the first film, this picture's overall gripping horror element will keep you both scared and entertained at the same time. Loads of fun.Grade B
View MoreWe all hate pointless horror sequels but this one was inevitable. Instead of carrying on the storyline, it opts into some laughably possession story which could have been a kid's spooky bedtime story. With a good cast and a talented director, this one doesn't have anywhere to hide. It's scare kit is: CGI, bad lighting, a camera with a broken zoom function, confusion, exposition, a whole load of water, a Spider-man like finale, backstory, badly rendered CGI ghosts which are shown far too much, endless glitches and- most mysteriously- a herd of CGI deer but unfortunately the film is very rarely even remotely scary. The first Ring was bad, but this manages to make it look like Citizen Kane. Hideo Nakata does his best with the visuals, but it's not creepy enough and the story is a total flop. Mixing backstory and failed scares with no coherence or proper explanation, this is a confusing, scare free mess which deserves to have every copy thrown into the well.Naomi Watts was a good heroine before, but she's not compelling here, while every other character portrays a walking cliché, especially the irredeemably bland Sixth Sense creepy child rip-off that the main ghost is trying to possess. Samara herself is reduced to an overused CGI blob that loses what little menace she had in the first film. This is a confusing, badly edited and laughably unscary sequel which suffers from a general lack of effort from its cast, crew and especially the writers. The film is yet another horror film which doesn't understand that subtlety and build-up are key and the scares start flowing right from the very beginning, making the film ever more messy and structurally broken. The whole film can best be described as one massive glitch and most viewers will find themselves bewildered, bored and most likely asleep.1/10
