Am I Missing Something?

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

This movie is very underrated. I love horror movie and critique them a bit strictly. The plot to this movie is really well played, the actors did wonderful, the scenery is great, and the music blends in really well. This is a movie that comes with nice big twists, and you cannot easily predict what really is going on until you reach down to the last scene and add it all up together. This is a must watch movie that doesn't come with typical horror movie cliche's, or badly put make up on villians, or stupid, pointless animations, but a strong set of nicely shot scenes. I give it a 10/10 because it's so underrated, and as someone who encourages people to watch horror movies, I feel I must emphasise.

the makers of this movie certainly got confused with the genre,it has an supernatural horror mixed with mystery and thriller and that's the reason the movie makes lesser impact than it could have done. if the movie had an mystery thriller genre this could be an decent movie. otherwise it has an great suspense..

The Uninvited is the epitome of today's, PG-13 date/horror movie. It's uncomplicated, packed with jump moments, and it has the obligatory twist at the end. If you haven't gotten thoroughly tired of this kind of thing by now, then The Uninvited might be worth the price of two movie tickets. The film mainly focuses on its trio of gorgeous female stars (Emily Browning, Elizabeth Banks and Arielle Kebbel). None of them are required to do any acting heavy lifting, but they all serve their parts well enough. The only quibble I had was with Banks, but she probably only seemed miscast because of the last few roles that I've seen and enjoyed her in.Anyway, as this is a modern, mainstream horror film, it's not very scary. The twist ending may or may not come as a surprise, but it doesn't really add much to the film. Check this out if you're a fan of any of the actresses or if you're bored. But don't expect to be frightened or particularly satisfied by The Uninvited.

The uninvited is a pretty entertaining movie with scary scenes and good plot twists. Elizabeth Banks really steals the show in this movie she played her role very well. This film's plot is very cool and fun to watch. Originally it was the poster for the movie that made me want to see it. I'm very glad that I saw this film, it is extremely well constructed and intelligently written. There is one very big plot twist but I'm not going to give it away you're just going to have to see for yourself. The twist is a big eye opening jaw dropping moment though, just what I love. Elizabeth Banks really showcased her acting talent here, she showed a side of herself I hadn't seen before. 7/10 for the uninvited.
