Too much of everything
Some things I liked some I did not.
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
View MoreOne of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
View MoreVery situational, and not for a mature audience, but overall enlightening. And very entertaining. Much laughter.
View Morei read some pretty bad reviews from others.OK the movie had no originality.but you knew that ,when you read in the review "two strangers stuck in a place".the actors i thought were playing simple but OK,and young people,or actors ,can sometimes escape bad criticism because hey it is just a little movie,a little romance, and if you think the actors are cute and kind of likable it passes the time.that's what i think about the movie.and i wanted to watch it till the end although yes i knew what was going to happen.my belief is that there is a category of movies that you simply should not judge too harsh.actually the whole thing depends not entirely on the script but in the chemistry of the actors.and i thought these guys were pretty much OK hanging around together.having said that,it was not a great love story or anything as such.but i do not think they intended it to be.i give it a six and a half rating.
View MoreI wanted to see this movie because I thought the trailer looked good. I was glad I did.The movie was cute and funny and interesting. It tells the story of a girl named Megan who is tired of being single and decides to go on a dating site for a one night stand. The guy that responds to her message is Miles, who agrees to her one night stand. The next morning however, as Megan tries to leave, she finds out that she and everybody else has been snowed in and are forced to spend the night, making a one night stand into a two night stand. They soon earn more about each other then they could by themselves. The acting was professionally done by both Miles Teller (Alec) and Analeigh Tipton (Megan), and the supporting characters were great too.I recommend this movie if you want a cute romantic comedy.I give Two Night Stand a 7/10
View MoreTwo night stand was an awful idea for a movie right from the get go, but I gave it a chance anyway. I do not stand corrected. The story is essentially about two un-ambitious, average, under-achieving young adults who find each other on the internet – have one brief conversation and then decide to meet each other for casual sex (because that's realistic, and isn't dangerous at all). Due to a freak snow storm hitting New York, they are forced to spend a little bit longer than one night with each other and are forced to get to know each and wait for it-*gasp* fall in love. The sex scenes and/or talk about sex in this movie were all awkward and frankly, embarrassing. The acting is so obviously scripted that you have a hard time believing that the actors actually believe any of the words coming out of their mouths and the whole situation is so unrealistic that even the benefit of the doubt that you would normally give to ridiculous rom-com movies like this one just go out the window. Lesson learned: if it sounds like a stupid movie, it probably is.
