A reporter's dream of becoming a news anchor is compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown L.A. without a phone, car, ID or money - and only 8 hours to make it to the most important job interview of her life. Walk of Shame benefits thanks to a hilarious perfomance from Elizabeth Banks in the main role who has a really really bad day and yes sure the film has some cliches and that but it's pretty funny and that's all it matters plus the 2 police men were also pretty damn funny especially the redish hair guy, give it a shot it's great. (A+)

I watched this for a simple mid week film and was thoroughly entertained.Banks was fun and likable, the situations that she got into and the characters that she met were funny but most of all I liked that the film wasn't trying to preach about how adults should be admonished for having casual sex.Banks had some good chemistry with Marsden, she was prepared to have fun and she maintained her independence and dignity. You see a fair share of films where you feel they have to empower the women by bludgeoning you over the head with their right on attitudes. Yet here was a girl who had a crazy night, had some wild sex with a good guy and wasn't going to feel guilty about it. Props to her and props to the filmmakers for railing against the notion that having some carefree fun and sex needs to be prudishly frowned upon.

Wow. This is one of the worst movies that I have ever had the displeasure of seeing in a long time. I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't. First, the male lead is chivalrous enough to not allow her to drive home when she's drunk because she's clearly impaired. But when she suggests that they go home together, all further conversations cease about her sobriety? Disgusting. And let's talk about how every minority is portrayed in this movie. The three black men are crack dealers. The Asian woman runs a massage parlor (which they suggest is a brothel). A latino man is a drug dealer. The presumably middle eastern man is a cab driver who takes payment in lap dances. Her friend's love interest with an olive complexion is also portrayed as a sleazy guy. And oh yeah, after all of her ridiculous shenanigans she gets offered the job while her competitor (whose surname is Chang and is likely Asian) gets automatically cut because of "racy pictures." This was complete utter nonsense. Shame on Elizabeth Banks for stooping to a new low. But to be honest, the person in whom I am most disappointed is myself for watching this absurd movie. Shame on you. That's time you'll never get back.

I understand this movie is described as "comedy", however half- through it I didn't smile once. The main character is really messed up and inconsistent, she's supposed to be a journalist aka a person who knows how to present information to people. Instead of that she can't manage to find anyone who could help her and the only people she meets turn out to be sexually obsessed freaks and/or psychopaths. It was so uncomfortable to watch, I felt so embarrassed for the girl and anyone who has made this movie. The only thing that stood up for me was Elizabeth Banks' yellow dress. She looked really pretty and it's the only reason I give this movie 3 stars.
