SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

Excellent adaptation.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Let me clue all of you imbeciles into the truth.... BO DEREK IS NOT A GODDESS. She has a high forehead, pointy ears, wispy hair, thin lips, and a elongated torso. The only good thing about Bo is her perky boobs which nowadays sag like two grocery store plastic bags filled with dirt.Now for this goofy movie...... it sucks. All this blowhard talk about deceit, greed, and all the rest of that typical garbage. Bo shows up now and then, but she's been better in the past, or at least better-photographed with her glazed eyes and all.Robert Mitchum plays a lawyer, though he sounds like a drunk and looks like a corpse.My rating..... 0, that's ZERO stars.

Twin brothers Jonathan and Ted Ashby (Steven Bauer) with Christina Ford (Bo Derek) are in a complicated relationship. They hired Jack Lynch (Jeff Fahey) to be the yacht captain. Jack is accused of killing Ashby and raping Ford by the police. He insists that Ashby fell overboard in a storm and he didn't rape her. He hires semi-retired defense lawyer Walter J. Hill (Robert Mitchum).My cheese-dar goes up when Bo Derek gets naked with twins and a couple of familiar B-movie names. Then Robert Mitchum shows up and one has to give this movie a fair shake. This is a hard-boiled erotic thriller but it moves at a snail's pace. Mitchum is older and slower but there is still a power to his acting. It's too bad that he is wasted on this weaker B-movie material.

If you are like any good, red-blooded, heterosexual American male, you probably just wanted to check out Bo's bo-dacious body--She delivers probably her best on screen nudity in this one, including a pretty heavy sex scene on a motorcycle. You definitely won't be disappointed!But if you go off "fast forward" and hit the normal speed "play" button, you find that this is a really engaging, entangled ball of yarn that will keep you guessing until *after* the end. I have seen it a couple of times, and I still don't know, besides Bo, who was in on the caper.This film really delivers on the sexy film noir.

If you like Bo Derek and you haven't seen this movie, you should. The sex scene on the motorbike is as good as any you will ever see. Bo Derek looks perfect "10" in this movie. Not a good movie considering story or acting. Worth checking out.
