Almost all the creation of the sense of time is expressed through the data image, almost become a Hollywood modern history, thanks to the actors to save; The Edward Robinson hearing was a second-rate drama, and that's certainly not Stuba's problem.

No wonder Kubrick doesn't recognize Spartacus as his work. And the film, like Trumbo himself, is self-righteous and lackluster, with an almost flat arc as a biopic. Bryan Cranston's performance was also disappointing

It's just a boring, boring biopic during awards season. You'll regret not watching the documentary or rewatching the Front.bTW, and why no one's made a biography of Mayer yet, who's split into 12 different personalities in the bizarre Studio Era biopics.

As a scriptwriter movie, the scriptwriter in this movie is so good, the characters and events are so layered, each small character has his own arc. It's ironic that left-leaning families are so strong (but does every biopic really need a beautiful mind these days). I've always been curious about the set of that era, and this one is illustrated by Trumbo alone. Quiet, down-to-earth heroism is so charming.
