    Very well executed

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

sure it's sexist, gross, cruel, mean-spirited and offensively stupid, but that's what made it work. Mike Judge ("King of the Hill", "Silicon Valley") is an humble intelligent person who was very creative when he came up with the premise of this show, about two idiots that present the 90's stereotype of the slackers who loves heavy metal. the premise is simple as it could be, beavis and butt-head watch TV, go to school, work at burger world or just wonder around somewere and do something incredibly stupid that's how they do things. Butt-head is my favorite out of the two, he has very little Common sense but still dumb as a brick, but i like him better then Beavis who is beyond the realm of reality in terms of common sense and complete idiot.the music video segments are just a gimmick for MTV (which made sense at the time) and also padding the episode because of their short 5- min length it's not really bad idea and great way to introduce to music videos that you never heard of or looking for. there's so many animated shows that has the similar type adult humor, but the reason it works here it's because it's a very interesting satire on MTV's generation X (90's) and it's culture about blaming the media for dumbing down society. it's a comedy that never ever supposed to be taken seriously. it has flaws, like the earlier seasons 1&2 are kinda mixed-bag with some OK episodes and some bad ones, with the crude animation and not really funny. but from season 3 and on-wards it's much better writing and better animation. also "Beavis & Butt-head" were the unofficial mascots for MTV for 5 years during their run. their movie "do America" is just amazing, one of the best TV to big picture along side "spongebob: the movie". when "beavis and butt-head" was revived in 2011 for the season 8, 14 years after it ended. despite the creator mike judge returning to make the series revival, i was a bit skeptical at first. since today's MTV is so far form what is was during it's hay-day. i was worried it will ruin what was considered a classic series. i was completely surprised how good the revival was. a rare occasion where revival season 8 was as good as the original series with classic style B&B episodes and high quality animation, and the only good program on today's MTV. too bad it only lasted few months. my only nitpick with the revival was adding reality shows with the music video segments which feel so out-of- place for beavis and butt-head. seriously from all the reality garbage they had to include the bottom-of-the-barrel like "jersey shore" and "16 and pregnant" oh, well at least they're been mocked by the duo.

Last year, MTV made an impressive move that put Beavis & Butthead back on the air with new episodes after 14 years. Many would think this vow of confidence would mean that the series would continue for some time. However, in great MTV fashion, not too many series live that long now-a-days if it doesn't revolve around stupidity or teen pregnancy. MTV cancelled Beavis and Butthead's companion program Good Vibes Friday morning after one season, but interestingly enough, the classic series' future may be in turmoil as well.Deadline reports that conversations about the show's future on the network are still ongoing, which may not mean the end of the revival just yet. However, it's not a clear indication whether or not MTV may want to continue. The show premiered to 3.3 million viewers, but it eventually dwindled down to 900,000 by the season's end. Granted, it has a very challenging timeslot on Thursday nights, being pitted against regular primetime programs on other networks, but those are quite sad numbers indeed. The conversations could in fact be for mutliple seasons, a la Futurama, but given the viewership, it's most likely that the network is trying to devise a proper strategy to bring back the duo in a much more successful form, whether it be a timeslot change, or a transition to the summer months may also be an option. We'll keep you updated on just what exactly will happen for the often laughing teenagers' future, whether it be cancelled or renewed, when information becomes available. But, what we want to know is from you: do you think Beavis and Butthead should be renewed? Could the less-than-successful run be due to the declining quality in programming from MTV forming a stereotype for the network (Jersey Shore,Teen Mom, etc.)? Is it simply an older generation not striking gold once more with the next gen? Or, have the fans of the series simply outgrown the humor?

That's right these boys are like The Three Stooges without their boss, Moe-to beat the crap out of them. These boys get into a lot of trouble, and gets hurt-like the stooges themselves. Beavis and Butthead works for Burger World; Their diet is mostly junk food with an appetite for nachos; And some of their nemesis includes Coach Buzzcut, Principal McVicker, and their own neighbor, Tom Anderson. It is perhaps one of Cable TV's greatest show ever... And it now gets better. So anyway, this happens to a great show that really knows about what's going on in the world of entertainment. And the boys usually lots of great reviews; Mostly on Videos that are shown on MTV, and its related shows.

By all human logic, Beavis & Butt-head should not be a funny show. If you walked up to someone who missed out on the Beavis & Butt-head craze, be it because they don't watch TV, weren't alive in the 90s, or otherwise and told them what Beavis & Butt-head was about, they'd give you a funny look and say "How is that funny? That's just stupid." And it's true, on paper Beavis & Butt-head sounds like a terrible show. All it really is are two idiotic, misogynistic head banging teens going "Uh huh huh huh" and "Eh heh heh heh" while lambasting music videos and pointing out whenever someone says something that sounds sexual and then walking around a bit as society devolves around them.Yet for whatever reason, Beavis & Butt-head were funny. Beavis & Butt-head live for 3 things: TV, Nachos, and chicks. Naturally the later category manages to elude them every time. Nachos are easy for them to acquire because, believe it or not, they have a job at a fast food restaurant despite the fact that Butt-head has no idea how to read or use the register and Beavis can't operate the fryers or the drive thru window properly. Hey, this is starting to sound like a pair of kids I once knew... Anyways, the rest of their life hinges around TV. They sit on the couch all day (When they aren't reluctantly at school or whisked away somewhere) watching TV, often going into segments where they provide bizarre commentary on music videos. Hey... this is REALLY sounding like some kids I used to know. In fact, I think that's where a lot of Beavis & Butt-head's appeal lie. As stupid as they were, as lame as they were, as weird as they were... you could relate to them. Everyone has met a "Beavis & Butt-head" at some point in their life, a pair of idiot problem child's that somehow continue existing just because they can. This was the youth of the 90s in a nutshell, and the show does occasionally show brief glints of self parody of the MTV generation as if to caution the viewers that this is what happens when kids are literally raised by the TV.But hey, lets not get too philosophical, dillweed. Uh huh huh huh. Just watch the show and enjoy, fartknocker. Uh huh huh huh.
