The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
View MoreClose shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
View MorePaul and Barry chuckle never fail to make me laugh. they have done ever since I was a small child. their comedy does stretch across all age gaps, and now my children are receiving the same pleasure I had from watching these classic comedic gods. aside from their slapstick comedy which can at times feel a little tired, you can rest assured that these guys come across as decent and kind people. they shine a light on good morals and give a wonderful demonstration on how to deal with the stress of life with a big smile and a can do attitude. to say I love these guys would be an understatement. these are national treasures, Slightly overlooked by the mainstream. but easily on the podium with our other greats. although possibly in their own category
View MoreI wish this show was on in the US when I was a kid. I mean, this is something that's actually worth getting up early on Saturday morning for, and for someone whose idea of getting up early is waking up at noon, that means something. The humor is something that translates well across the pond, and my boyfriend and friends and I love to curl up around the laptop for some Chucklevision. Sure, the premise is repetitive, (Chuckle brothers are given a job or other task to do and fail at it horribly with lots of slapstick) but that's part of its charm and what makes it funny. The jokes are still funny as a teen and never fail to make me laugh, the plot twists are actually surprising for a kids' show, and I can watch the same episode over and over and still not get sick of it. If you aren't already showing or considering showing your kid this awesome show, I feel sorry for that deprived little thing.
View MoreThe programme works for the audience it is aimed at, but seems to fail everywhere else. The episodes are often repetitive and seem to deal with the same old gags. The episodes revolve around the Chuckle brothers being given simple jobs or attempting simple tasks, only to fail in a slapstick way. This system has been used for years and has seemingly failed to change in anyway. Nowadays, the two actors seem slightly too old to be running and jumping around like children. The programme does succeed in providing a comedy that is suitable for children of all ages. The slapstick is easily understood by younger children which is often used in modern day cartoons. However the formula being the same for each episode means that once you have seen one episode of the Chuckle brothers' antics, you've more or less seen them all.
View MoreChuckleVision is a comedy for children and lasts for about 20 minutes. It is a very popular British series and is still going on today! It is highly successful as it has really variable story lines and some excellent acting. Nothing else like this has been produced on television before. The locations are like those in reality and easy to relate to. If I could rate this programme I would give it no lower than 10/10!! Keep this going boys! You're doing well!
