i must have seen a different film!!

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

This show is something that traps you inside, and doesn't let go.JK Simmons plays the role of a spy, that realized there is another like him. The show twists and turns, dodges and rolls away from the main storyline.... But very slowly. The quality of acting, film sets, and camera work is something you can only gape at in awe- it makes the far fetched sci-fi plot even more believable. The plot moves around, and sometimes it can be too much for the average viewer. Yet, the show will blow you away each episode until you're left sleepless wondering.If you enjoy sci-fi and stories that hook you into being confused but excited, this is perfect for you.

I was on a shoot yesterday for this project! there is a very skilled and Quality staff. this is not a low-budget project! Twilight Zone kinda feel to it! very unique!

I just wanted to comment that this show hits very close to home for me and could do so for many South Koreans. Some people might be scratching their heads so let me explain. Before a war broke off 68 years ago we were one united nation and after three years of war we were divided into north and south. Most people were divided regardless their ideology, just by their habitat. A seperation that continues even after more than half a century has its effects and what was our common language, our common culture, our common lifestyles have developed differently, and with time the gap between our worlds have widened. This is worsened by the rigid diplomacy and lacking interactions between the two countries. Most people doesn't have a much knowledge of how the 'other half' lives, if they do they would be either people from high up in government or people who has crossed over from the north to south. A lot of this "cold war" style espionage and collaberating agents theme is such a familiar concept used on many films made in South Korea and people crossing over is an ongoing issue for us here in South Korea. I am not saying we are just like the show, because the show has far more depth and layers to be explored on with alternate universe and doppleganagers and other ideas that I can't even speculate on. It maybe a stretch or I maybe am being to personal but some parts of the show just strikes a cord. What would be of us if we had ended the war as one nation? what would be of Germany if they hadn't united in 1990.Oh and the Pandemic! we went through that with M.E.R.S just three years ago!

These are my reflections on first season. This show starts quite effectively. Everything is there - mystery, intelligent plot, fine acting. The overall neo noir feel doesn't hurt either. Reminded me of Fringe (2008), but smarter and better acted with more intriguing, involving and believable (if one can use such a term in regard to a sci-fi show) story line. Its about parallel worlds that treat one another like East and West during the Cold War era. Mutual blame, trust issues, espionage and counter intelligence, sleeper sells, rogue fractions and what not. Wanted to like it so much, but have to admit: the ending is an emotional let down for me personally. Didn't like it one bit. Felt that the whole premise was betrayed by certain "short cuts" taken by the story. Good acting from most involved. J.K. Simmons (Howard) is effective, though a bit methodical. Standouts: Sara Serraiocco (Baldwin), Ulrich Thomsen (Aldrich) and, as cool as they get - Stephen Rea (Pope) in a very menacing role. Liked the show till the last 2 episodes, thus 6,5/10*
