Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

Ed, Edd, n Eddy does a lot with a little. Despite it's small cast and limited locations until the final season, EEnE never feels repetitive. The series is constantly funny. Unlike a lot of all ages comedy, EEnE remembers that it's a comedy first and foremost, and it does not allow itself to become bogged down moral lessons, storylines, or edutainment. It's also a visual treat. It is one of the last western animated series to be animated on cels. The crew show a great understanding of animation fundamentals. It's a great show.

It's amazing how shows like this can have such an influence on you years later. I remember watching new episodes of this show as a kid, not realizing that it was shaping my own sense of hunor. The humor in this is strange, a mix of slapstick, stupidity, and cruel humor. While some might find it more mean than funny, it has the opposite effect on me. It shows that kids can be dumb, can overreact to things, and how kids can be cruel. Aside from that, it managed to grow and build on itself. Season 1 gave the Eds the same personality, but by Season 2, they had grown. Double D's the smart one, Ed's the dumb one, and Eddy's the selfish one. Their characters bounce off each other so well, combined with the other kids like Rolf, Jonny, Kevin, Nazz, Jimmy, and even Sarah. They even changed it up for the final season and put the kids in school. It added another layer and environment to the show. While some episodes are weaker than others, they're all still watchable, and that's enough for me after watching this for so long.There's no real lesson to these episodes, just mindless entertainment that manages to still make me laugh 20 years later. What lessons did I learn from "Ed, Edd n Eddy"? Kids can be cruel, and human suffering can be hilarious.

I have a bunch of nostalgia about this show. Like this is the best Cartoon Network show of all time. I hate Teen Titain Go like that show is a major letdown compared to the original one. This a great show like I'd love to watch this a lot as a kid like I'm a big fan of it and it's still my favorite show to date. Screw TTG this stand the best.

Yes, this is animation at its finest.A near flawless cartoon. No joke. While the first season might have been a bit more kiddie-aimed and had a few flaws (voice actors sounding ... unsure, humor that could appeal only to younger audiences (probably intentional for the creator to win the bet - just read Wikipedia and you'll know what I mean), and not-yet perfected animation). All of these problems faded away with future seasons, however - the series got better even when the first season was progressing: funny fact, I feel that the premier episode was one of the worst of the series, "lol".But, as said before, the series' problems soon all faded: "E,EnE" became easily the best-animated (one of the last fully hand-drawn cartoons, with cell animation), best-written and funniest cartoon on TV, with a rather small cast of characters - but the small number of characters was not a problem - they had the perfect voices (you could see they got better towards the end of the first season and at the beginning of the second - they "found" their voice) and great character development - really, the Eds, the rest of the kids, and even the never-appearing characters were crafted to perfection.And in general, it's beautiful cartoon. It's well-written, funny as hell, and is one of the most quotable shows out there. To the critics - I don't care. :PPerfect, a ten!
