SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

Another terrible Disney XD sitcom. This show is god awful. The premise is weak and lame. The acting is terribly bad. Nobody on this show can act except Cameron Boyce. The characters are so cliche and generic. The cool leader, the fat kid, the dumb blonde, and the geeky kid. Most of the episodes have nothing to do with gaming. Just random nonsense. I can see why this show was canned quickly after 2 seasons. It didn't know what it wanted to be. This show stinks!

The actors lack of power, confidence and spontaneity. The script is dull, the jokes are so flat, they look like being ironed. The only reminder that there was a joke is the rather annoying laugh track. Fortunately, it's not that loud.On the other hand, it's the first show to my knowledge with a (pro) gaming themed setting. A genre, witch is considered not a sport by many because of lack of interest knowledge and being full of stereotypes. By the way: as a typical Disney show, the cast are all stereotypes: the cool gamer nerd the ugly loser nerd the cool-ugly nerd friend and the fat nerd. Also the theater is heavily exaggerated or simply over-acted.If a show really wants to end stereotypes about gaming, this show is pointless. Needless to say, the all hack at those controller while gaming like speed would mean they play better. Hello, producers: it's not. Also, it's very American and console centered (thus, console being more common in the US and Japan). If you need nerdy humor, try the British "IT Crows" (just 4 seasons being made) or for heaven's sake even the well-known "Big Bang Theory". First having kick-ass jokes and the latter having the kick-ass cast and chemistry.Three stars for trying :D

Gamer's guide to pretty much everything is about a gaming team in a professional gaming league or something like that, sounds cool right? Well it's not. It is actually pretty awful and boring. First off i saw one full episode and part two episodes. The problems are these:(1.) They play video games when the remotes are clearly off.(2.) Most of the time the show isn't about gaming, so its like "oh we're gamers so we are all the sudden more interesting". Well, guess what? They are not.(3.) It usually very boring. I first just watched two episodes i watched only like 5 minute of it and already found it dull and boring.(4.) They play video games that aren't even real.(5.) The show is very unrealistic. A guy all the sudden made his thumb loose while playing in a professional gaming championship. (6.) The name is stupid for a TV show (and long). (7.) It's most of the time very unfunny.Overall, although i am a Disney Channel, i would not waste my time watching this show when there are better shows on the regular Disney channel.

Wow, this show is horrible. I knew it was probably gonna be bad because Disney sitcom, but wow, I did not expect this.First off, the pacing is terrible. They get him from playing in some championships or something, (It was weird how he was playing the game when the remote was clearly off.) breaking his hand, and into school in 2 minutes tops. The important parts are rushed and they add unnecessary parts and drag them out for far too long. The premise isn't very good either. All the main characters just happen to be gamers, but the show doesn't really revolve around gaming all that much. Also, it isn't very realistic. There are plenty of teen gamers on YouTube who live perfectly normal lives, I don't see how these kids are so much different. It's just random people living normal lives, why should we care? Oh yeah, because they just so happen to like games that apparently makes the show automatically more interesting. The moral is really bad. The main character and three others decide to make a plan to get him back into the pro-circuit or something like that and they agree. Then, at the end, they act like he's being a jerk for leaving. Why are they so sad and shocked that he's leaving? That was the entire point of what they were doing. But then he decides to stay because they were disappointed. Call me heartless, but just leave. It just kind of comes off like they emotionally manipulated him to stay. He wasn't doing anything wrong by leaving and you knew that he was going to. Also, the characters are terrible. Conor is rude, Franklin is a fan-boy, Wendell is..... I don't know what he is, and Ashley is dumb. Those are the only character traits that these people have. They also act like they're somehow oppressed for being gamers. That's a pretty normal thing and it's never been considered weird or unusual. Thing is about Ashley though is that she doesn't want people to find out she's a gamer because she thinks that the volleyball team (Which she is apparently on.) will think that she can't focus. This makes no sense since I think it's pretty semi-common knowledge that gaming actually helps you focus. Disney is a professional company, they should be able to easily take literally 10 seconds (Probably less.) out of their time to look up known facts. The acting is also terrible. The only thing I laughed at is when Wendell says "Ashley, that is so DUMB!" And not because it was funny. Because the actor said it so terribly that I cracked up.Speaking of comedy, like most Disney sitcoms, they play the laugh track way too much. Seriously, anything even hinting at a punchline gets a laugh track. Heck, even things that aren't jokes at all get a laugh track. And some of the jokes didn't even make any sense. So basically, this show is the embodiment of everything wrong with Disney sitcoms these days. And that was only the first episode I watched. I think it's safe to say that it'll also be the last.
