An Exercise In Nonsense

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

This show has gone downhill fast! Its like the writers all have better jobs and are doing everything they can to get this show cancelled! And Denton was a HORRIBLE fit!! All he did was bring his character from Desperate housewives to Middleton! He has ZERO acting skills! The story line is terrible, the dialog is atrocious! Just listen to the banter back and forth, the small talk its disgusting. This show was so so Good Once! My wife is getting the dry heaves watching it, I am not sure how much longer we can continue to watch hoping for a good episode!

I enjoy both the movies and the series. I saw the series first which prompted me to get the movies. I like the light tone in these crazy times. I believe they made the transition nicely since Chris Potter was not available for the series. I do have one complaint. They transitioned the changes nicely from the movies to the series with the exception of Gwen, George's wife. She dropped off the face of the earth with no explanation. I would like them to address as to what happened to her, if only in passing.

This show will offend nobody except those who value their time. Each episode lacks narrative, humour, excitement and witchcraft. It's a show for prepubescent girls to watch with their grandmothers. The formula is a smug bric a brac dealer gives cliché motivational poster type advice to townspeople who have problems so dull that they are barely problems at all.The smug dullard with the gift shop also has a bed and breakfast. She's supposed to be a witch but there's no pointy hat, broomstick, potions or even talking cats. By any measure she's not a witch but her nosey parker, smug personality will have you yearning for a ducking stool episode.

Good Witch is a show I cannot stop watching! It is a cheesy show, but it does make you feel good after you watch it. The characters are fun to watch grow. My only complaint would be the men in the show. Every single one of them want to get into bed with Cassie. It makes the show not seem so real when every guy that comes into it, is trying to get with Cassie. And of course, she refuses them all, even though I am rooting for the neighbor guy! I'm on season 2, so I know there are at least one more to go, but I hope it changes a bit. Keep the good feeling of the show, but change some of how new people enter the show. Good Witch makes you want to move to Middleton and be a part of the town. I would recommend this show.
