    The Worst Film Ever

If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

"Happy!" is a gloriously demented comic book adaptation from the mind of industry legend Grant Morrison. It's about disgraced New York Cop, Nick Sax (gainfully portrayed by Christopher Meloni who appears to be enjoying himself even more than when he was in "True Blood") who is pulled into the investigation of his estranged daughters kidnapping when Happy, a flying blue Unicorn and his daughters imaginary best friend, hunts him down. Whilst it's definitely not a show for everyone, the levels of profanity, sexual content and especially violence are very high, I ended up really enjoying the series. Admittedly, I was a little shaky after the first couple as to whether I'd continue with it. . . Happy is a pretty annoying character and Nick and his world takes a little getting used to. Had it been more than a limited series of 8 episodes I don't think we'd have persevered, but I'm glad we did as it does settle down after those initial ones. The plot stands start to come together and you get used to the tone, although it does still find ways to surprise and disgust you as it continues. As I mentioned above, it does look like Christopher Meloni is having a lot of fun with a showy role, but he's fearless with it. He blunders around like a drunken John McLaine, dispatching villains with his hitman skills and a large piece of Deadpool-esque lucky bravado. The only person who might be having more fun is Patrick Fischler as Smoothie, a combination of manic obsessive compulsion and vague sexual threats who is a key figure for mob boss Scaramucci, played by Ritchie Coster, who too looks like he's enjoying himself, although his character is a little more familiar than some of the others. Whilst never quite matching the levels of interaction of something like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" the character of Happy is well animated as are the other CGI characters that appear towards the end of the series. Patton Oswald fills out the character well once the earnestness of the first couple of episodes erodes away. . Although I still think he's probably the least engaging part of the show. Funny, surprising and entertaining, "Happy!" season one was a shotgun blast. Roll on Season two.

How to describe this show? Darkly humorous, wacky and absurd. Combine Max Payne with animation and more in-your-face gross comedy. Not for children or even many adults. Happy has a bit niche audience. It's bold with certain scenes, so not for the faint of heart. First season is a very promising start. I just hoped it got more views.

Disgusting load of rubbish! I knew after the first episode it was a very rough disturbing series, but when they have babies getting murdered in the microwave in the second episode without warning i find that unexcusable!! I have cancelled my netflix account because of this show. That is the last straw, anyone who likes that kind of rubbish have something wrong with them. This is why the world is so messed up!!
