I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
View MoreOne of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
View MoreThere is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
View MoreHollyoaks is very very awesome. It's nice for all ages mainly for youngs. I am a big fan, but for good reasons! Hollyoaks has an amazing ability to not take itself too seriously and then at other times it can deal extremely well with story lines or issues over soaps dare not touch. Teacher student relationship, cot death, racism and it does so brilliantly. The acting can be a bit off at times but ultimately this is a great soap to watch if you want to relax and suspend reality after a long day at work or school. Highly recommend this show.
View MoreMyra should not return she is not necessary. The McQueens irritate me too. It's pretty much rubbish now. I've never really liked Theresa or many of the McQueens. You should read what the fans say over on the messageboards. No wonder the best rating is 5/5. I just think that the show's quality is mediocre at best these days. Some characters are so unattractive as well. Plus what are they doing here in the first place anyway? That question is still unanswered. I loved Carmel. I agree Silas should return. He was unattractive though.
View Morelet me start of by saying holly-oaks is a very underrated soap. although it does mainly focus on the six formers and the university crew, but thats not a reason to hate on this show. the show has had its good story lines such as1)sarahs parusuit death 2)carls and mercadies affair 3)gilly rapes Jacquie 4)Silas the serial killer 5)george and phoebe sex storyline.although the teen soap has had its fair share of story lines i can 100% under stand why a lot of people would find this show irritating because they kill of such strong actors/actresses such as Rae and recently killing of one of the strongest actresses they have on the show LYNSEY who in their right mind would kill of Lynsey with her BIG EXPLOSIVE storyline with Silas. the show has many characters that they need to axe fast because they CAN NOT ACT. jono, ruby,Neil, liberty,Texas,Dennis, callum,Lacey. thats why the holly-oaks don't have as many viewers as they used to have.but to make up for the dreadful wooden acting from the above, the show has its strong ACTORS/ACTRESESS such as mitzieee,Jacquie,Brendan,Darren,Nancy, will and Ash thats still not an excuse to kill of a excellent actresses then higher stuped pointless actors.holly-oaks does have its good and its bads moments but its a soap and if you can name me a soap that doesn't have its bad day then i will be IN FOR A SHOCK. if you read this review then make sure you try it out now as were about to find out Lynsey's murder in the upcoming weeks. this show deserves a 8star
View MoreThey say it is a teen soap, but people from all different ages watches this marvellous exciting show, that has established itself to be one of the popular shows in Britain today. Based in fictional town Chester it revolves around the lives of young people and how they cope with daily troubles. The show has been running well over 10 years and has made household names such as Will Mellor, Jodi Albert Gary Lucy and Laila Rouass. Throughout it's history it has produced memorable characters like Kurt, Jambo, Luke, Geri, Lewis, Jude and more recently Ben, Izzy, Mandy, Bombhead, Lee and many others. Viewers often find that most of these characters, they either fall in love with them or they want to be mates with hem. Till this day, the show continues to provide memorable characters who touch our hearts and we can relate our lives to such as Justin, Sam and Gilly. Unlike other soaps like Eastenders, Corrie and Emmerdale, Hollyoaks has a strange way of mixing dramatic story lines always with a bit of comedy. There also a sense of belonging in Hollyoaks which makes viewers much more happier rather than miserable whilst watching something like Eastenders. During the 90s both Eastenders and Corrie were at their best, but while Eastenders lost its touch of that warmth and excitement of having to sit down and look forward to watching the show, Hollyoaks still provides this. Often known as watching as a hangover cure as Sunday Omnibus editions prove, the time slot is at 6;30 where it is one of the top performers on this slot and often you find each Hollyoaks episode gives out a 'feel good factor'. But despite this, Hollyoaks has proved to tackle some great story lines like drug rape, suicidal, homelessness, racial bullying and of course the rather memorable male rape. Although many believe that the show should be awarded a lot more, Hollyoaks had has its fair share of success. Four BAFTA and three National Television Award nominations has been awarded to the show. Story lines such as male rape became a huge hit with the critics and actor Gary Lucy who played the rape victim, received many accolades including 'Best Newcomer' gong at the British Soap Awards. Overall, Hollyoaks has proved many critics wrong when it first began as the show has captured its audience's hearts and also often provides much needed excitement for its viewers- unlike other soaps. Proving it is not just a show for teenagers, Hollyoaks has also had a string of late night series involving more adult story lines. Hollyoaks comes highly recommended as it has proved t be Channel 4's number 1 drama series.
