a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
View MoreAlthough I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreThe film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
View MoreAfter reading all the bad reviews, I decided to give the show a chance.. Cause after all, I love a "good" B-movie so bad that it's funny. Basing this entire review upon the very first pilot episode I must say, I was pretty darn entertained. I would suggest not viewing the show expecting to see an insightful thought provoking documentary (with subjects like Bigfoot... what would you expect), I went in expecting/hoping to see something along the lines of Penn & Teller's: Bullshit and was happy to find a G-rated variant. Also, I did found him to be very open-minded and realistic about the whole thing. **Spoiler** For example, Bigfoot hunters claimed bear crap was proof, and real scientists state that we discover brand new endangered species all the time... So while it is indeed possible, it's extremely unlikely.
View MoreI really enjoy every episode.Rogan talks about up and coming hot current event topics. From the bizarre to the unusual. There's SO MUCH to be learn through his TV show. Outside of his lame comic take and out of context jokes, a lot of the interviews are with well respected members of their chosen field. Most of the topics discussed are real events currently going on behind the public eyes. Honestly you won't find a show quite like his. Just look pass his awkwardness when he tries to lay down a funny joke in the most inappropriate time.
View MoreI have only seen the first episode of this show but I am a long time Joe Rogan aficionado and if he is involved in something, especially when most of the show is him talking, it will be fantastic. He gets to the bottom of things in the best way possible by talking all sides and playing devils advocate. I recommend anything he does, especially the podcast. If anything download the podcast, there are 380+ 2-3 hour podcasts full of knowledge for FREE at your fingertips if you download iTunes or have an iPhone. WOOT! The episode I saw was the bigfoot episode and Rogan really gets to the bottom of things, at one point he straight up says his bullshit meter is going off the scales.. which is exactly what any normal person is thinking while watching but he has the stones to say something. Powerful Joe Rogan.
View MoreI should start off by saying I really do enjoy paranormal and mystery type shows. At first when I saw the preview for this show, I thought there was good potential in it. Unfortunately, any information or entertainment value is watered down by Joe Rogan's over the top expressions and "aw shucks, I don't know nothing'" persona. I'm by no means an expert in the "unexplained" but I also don't have a show where I investigate it. Rogan continues to emphasize his lack of knowledge and understanding of the subject matter but I would expect he would also at least be somewhat knowledgeable about it. However, that does not seem to be the case. Most "questions" are really just empty thoughts and challenges but do not provide a rebuttal to the other person's point. Mixed with a series of random yet ridiculous facial expressions really makes you feel that the nearest janitor or homeless person could have probably asked the same level of "insightful" questions with possibly more professionalism. If this makes it to a second season, it will be nothing short of a miracle.
