The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
View MoreThis is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

View MoreI LOVE LOVE the show please make a season 2 I am dying to see if she accepts Lady Covington as her grandmother and if they have a relationship those who criticize her fear of riding you don't know what it is like to be dragged like she was so don't judge and Kit in nature is opinionated that's her and Lady Covington just is a serious and stiff not intentionally being mean Elaine says my parents sacrificed everything for me to be here she acts snooty to cover that up she explains that to Kit

View MoreThis show has romance between a girl and her horse. In this show, and name "Kit" who attends a boarding school in England with her friends and learns how to ride a horse, she is also a North American girl who is in a relationship with her horse and friends. The show is Nick's 5th soap opera and the 1st soap opera in a year. The show should be up for a Primetime Emmy Award this year,Golden Globe next year, plus Kids Choice Award & People's Choice Award next year including a Teen Choice Award this year and a Satellite Award & a TV Land Icon Award for Future Classic next year too.
View MoreI think it must be just me, for out of the other scathing reviews I've seen here, no one has asked even one of the questions I'm going to ask, but like the robber who said to Dirty Harry, "I just gots to know, man" I must ask the following questions:1. Why is Kit's father, who oozes (urban) cowboy from head to toe, teaching classic (i.e. English/Eastern) style riding? 2. Why is Kit's father, who supposedly has a frightening resume of ranch (i.e., HORSE) work, never once shown on a horse? 3. Why is Lady Covington, namesake of Covington Academy, never shown on a horse? There are photos in her office...is there even a photo of her on a horse, past or present?I could put up with the frightening lack of originality or even logic in most of the characters (why does Kit go all the way to England to indoctrinate the Brits to the superior American way in this age of "infinite diversity"?) or the frightening lack of horses in this supposedly horse-driven show (the horse we see most often is the stock shot of a rider on a non-descript bay riding across the camera at the beginning of any paddock scene). But I just "gots" to know the answers to the three questions above.
