Ruby & The Rockits Audience Reviews

Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Nima Arghavan It's on of the best American comedies and since I love shows about music bands I really enjoyed it and by the way Ruby and Jordan are the best characters.I love teenage characters in TV shows.the only problem is I can't watch the original series.only on fox series middle east which features censorship.for me it was so interesting that i fell for it within the first two episodes.i recommend it to everybody throughout the world to watch it.having half an hour of fun mixed with music is something that every one is looking for and it is entertaining mostly for teenagers and young adults.thanks to the creator the show is not boring and you laugh along with the whole episode.it's just that I wish there was a second season for it and we could continue watching it.
Kyle Mallory This is a good little sitcom that can be entertaining and good for your whole family. It's got plenty of little jokes thrown throughout and is setup like your standard half hour comedy. It does lack some development and in some ways may be better off as an hour long show, but the half hour does get the job done fairly well. It's not very original, other than mixing up a few different plots such as cousin having a crush on a cousin, long lost daughter finds washed up rockstar dad, and has been brother fighting with rockstar. As I said above though, it is quite entertaining.Sadly, if your looking for original, you'll be looking for a while.
ldavis-2 Wasted a half-hour of my life last night on this "comedy". As if the whole premise wasn't bad enough, the set-up was awful. This girl shows up, and informs the has-been pop star that she's his kid, and he just accepts it! Not only accepts it, but dumps the kid on the brother he has been feuding with for the last 20 years, who also accepts her! Makes sense to me, too!The hook is that the brothers were a big Wham!-like pop act 20 years ago. Their "video" has them don these silly wigs and lip-sync to this retched song while a girl (now married to one of the brothers) does her best Tawny Kitaen. The "video" is so lame, they don't even bother to make the brothers and the girl look 20 years younger! The brother who gets dumped on, now pushing SUVs, longs for the good old days, while his son (a graduate of The I'm SO Hot School of Acting) wants to be Kurt Cobain when he grows up. And naturally, Ruby, who can't carry a tune, has delusions of musical greatness.David ought to be ashamed for whoring out a sorry episode of his life. And Shaun -- I just want to kick myself for having the biggest crush on you! You're not only a sell-out, you're a hack! And you weren't even that good of a singer!
thuernman I just watched the pilot of this so-called show, and that was the worst 23 minutes of this year this far. The terrible, lousy actors are actually better at their jobs than the people adding the fake laughs. Every single line of dialogue is followed by laugh-in-a-box, no matter what is being said.It has a shallow plot about a teenage girl meeting her father for the first time, and sadly that is the smallest cliché in this show.I could go on and on rambling about the lousiness of this program, but I'll just leave you with an advice: Do not waste your time.Seriously.
