    The Worst Film Ever

    The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

    A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

    Beth gets a second chance at life, family, and friends after she accidentally chokes on a sandwich. God has intervened and helped this misguided, alcoholic, joke of the neighborhood, become the person she has always wished she was.As someone who has nothing up with religion, I was skeptical to watch this Series. The mainly reason to watch it, was for Anne Heche. This is however not a pro- or anti-religious show. The show dares to bring God into the storyline, but with a contemporary approach. The moral and ethical messages are funny and light carried out.Heche shows her outstanding comedic timing and facial mimic in this Show. She makes an unlikely character touchy and believable. The rest of the cast are not in her league, but the acting is more than decent.Especially the first 3-4 episode are funny and well written from then on the director is rushing through the story and the show gets less enjoyable. The show is fast paced and the format of 20- 25 minutes suits it well. This comedy is different but better than the average sit-com.

    I was skeptical before I watched the first episode. Didn't want to be missioned. But I really liked every one of the way too few episodes.Luckuly it wasn't morally waggling with some profound messages. Instead it showed a really charming and quite amusing way to handle the crazy idea called god.It is really sad the show got canceled. Although it's surprising there were after all 7 Episodes of it, before this heresy was banned from TV. Guess, you can't make a crazy person laugh about the voices in it's head.God damned hypocrites! May they all slowly die of Syphilis.

    I've watched 3 episodes and am a fan. I was skeptical at first but this is a well written, smart, funny show. It reminds me very much of Scrubs from a few years back. The characters are very representative of our post-modern, secular culture. Woven through the irreverent dialog are some very good moral, ethical messages. Anne Heche as the main character Beth who has found God following a traumatic event is comically representative of the modern new believer. Theologically and doctrinally naive she is unabashed in her belief unlike the only other professed believer in the cast who largely sublimates her beliefs in the face of her skeptical peers unbelief. Save Me is a bold entry in the sitcom landscape that has seemed to venerate themes that in prior years would have been considered socially unacceptable. ironically, talking about God in media has become counter cultural. save Me is making it cool again. Give it a shot. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

    Not crazy about the writing or directing. Writers and the Director are rushing through the story.Anne Heche is delightful. I just read her Bio. I couldn't place her at first. The last time I saw her was in "Men in Trees". For better or worse, I must admit that her relationship with Ellen kind of spoiled that series for me in the sense that her real life sexual preferences had an impact on the believability of the show. Only now do understand that she had taken heterosexuality back up by the time that show aired.Knowing about her personal bouts with her self-admitted "insanity" as a child and adult will make this series much more delicious.
