    Absolutely the worst movie.

Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

...is the perfect word to describe a serie seductive for each ingredient, from performances to plot. and it is not surprising. because a large family, kids and a couple not far by problems but solving them in inspired ways are predictable, seductive and ...the best choice. after The Man from Atlantis and Bobby Ewing, Patrick Duffy gives a character iresistible for the contrast with the other steps of career. and he does a real good job. sure, the theme is too familiar, but that challenge is the lead virtue of serie - to propose the right formula for a story well known. and, it wins.

I think "Step by Step" is one of the best TV-series I've ever seen. One of the things that make it so good is that the happening is so normal. It's a perfectly normal family, with perfectly normal family-problems. Just like "F*R*I*E*N*D*S", "step by step" has this wonderful gallery of different personalities. Friendship against different personalities makes one of the best kinds of humor the world have ever seen. "Step by Step" is very helpful, it tells us about problems and dilemmas everyone can get, and it tells us about it with this GREAT sense of humor! The actors are fantastic and the happening is fabulous! There might come other series about families like the Foster-Lambert family, but even if it's funnier, cooler or smarter, it would not be the same, and it'd only one reason why it can't be the same as "step by step": IT'S NOT "STEP BY STEP"!! It's a shame this fantastic show was canceled, but in some countries (my native land Norway, till example) you can still see the episodes on TV every day.If you haven't seen "step by step" you have missed a lot of fun!!

This show was pretty good, considering that it was one of those family comedies. It was way better than Full House, or Saved By the Bell. It seems that like many other programs, the show's quality declined with the addition of the new baby. Strangely, she matured from an infant to a five or six year old girl within a couple of years. Sadly, most of the younger cast has not made a TV or movie appearance for five or six years.

"Step By Step," while not the greatest TV show ever, was certainly not the worst! It wasn't a bad little show. Those people who never saw the show, and are looking to the user comments here in order to find out whether or not the show was any good, there's a message to be found in all the negative comments that have been posted here. It should be noted that in those bashing reviews that the grammar is so atrocious and that so many of the words are misspelled. What does that tell you? And, to all you super critics, you're not fooling anyone by your use of BIG words like "targeted", "innuendo", "propaganda", "relegated", etc. For people who seem to know so much about what makes a great comedy series, Why aren't they writing great ones and dazzling us all with all their Emmys?
