Such a frustrating disappointment

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

This Netflix series is one of my favorites. The performance or the actors, especially the alienist was excellent.One of the most exciting thing is that you never know who the killer is, even when they think that are closer. The continuous fight with older policemen and political problems are going to make harder the work of this group of people, who wanted to change the history of murder's investigation.I´d recomended this tv show to anyone who likes the history and like to guess who the killer is.

10/10 ! The cast , the senario , the costumes , everything is excellent! Luke Evans is so tallented and so handsome! I for sure recommend this show , 10 hours well spend ! I wish for a second season!

Each episode had the right pace and captured the era so accurately. So many twists and turns, a real thriller. Let's hope for a second season!

I started watching this series with high hopes but i was sadly disappointed. This series was all over the place. Many plot lines went unresolved and many others were unnecessary. The ending was unsatisfactory because u wait for answers that u will never get. The only credit i can give is for the setting and the mood, other than that it will not leave u with any attachment to it nor to the characters. P.s I haven't read the book so my opinion is solely based on the adaptation
