    Simply Perfect

It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Got to admit I wasn't interested until a trusted source recommended it. I regularly watch Phillip de Franco on YouTube and he recommended this show. I have bing watched since I started. Very well done, great acting and thoroughly entertaining!

Watching the pilot I thought Hmmmm, all very theatrical. Looks like it was adapted from a Broadway musical comedy. I stuck with it and binge-watched the entire first series. Absolutely terrific. As another reviewer pointed out it does rely on Jewish stereotypes and a lot of cliches, but in the best possible way. Look forward to the next series.

I have to rate this show as10/10 Stars because it's one of the best TV series that I have viewed (and I spend a huge amount of my time watching TV or movies as I am bedridden). It's a seamlessly written balance of drama and comedy, with marvellous writing, wardrobe and set decoration that transports you to the time period as effortlessly as Madmen (if not better) and absolutely amazing casting and acting, primarily by the surprisingly strong (yet human and vulnerable), intelligent, and charismatic portrayal of "Marvellous" Midge by Rachel Brosnahan. Even when its heroine falters, the show's narrative is as empowering as it is entertaining, and and although the pilot episode could easily have set up the next episodes as rather predictable, the plot and subplots avoid predictability, which makes it hard not to "binge" on half of the season at once. The casting and acting of the entire ensemble of characters is fabulous, including the most familiar faces (especially her manager, but also her parents, in laws, and husband). I had watched previous series with Brosnahan as well as an interview, and I am very impressed that she found such strength in her character and is capable of such versatility- not just a pretty face, and well deserving of her Golden Globe Award! Well done Amazon Prime!
