The greatest movie ever!
From my favorite movies..
The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
View MoreClose shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
View MoreAnimation was at a bit of a low point in the mid 2000s, but there were still good shows here and there, one of them being The Replacements. The idea of having a phone that can replace people to make your life easier is an interesting one, and they really ran with the concept due to how crazy things got. The second season focused less on replacements and more on the characters and stories, which I view as a plus. Our main characters are well rounded, with Riley being my favorite. I can see why she had a bigger focus in later episodes. Admittedly, it got a bit too crazy at times, but the good was still significantly strong. I didn't mind the formulaic aspect in the first season since it did help to teach good morals. I don't have much of a problem with the show. It's plain fun.My score: 9/10
View MoreThis story is about Todd and Riley (the main protagonists), who are middle-school siblings with special cells that have a big F-button on them. This particular button grants the siblings the ability to Replace any adult they want, with another adult or animal. When I heard about this cartoon (in 2006) I thought it was going to be completely boring, so I went on with my life and ignored it. About thirty-two months later I just happen to turn on the TV, and guess what was on next. You got it; the Replacements. I decided it was time to finally watch it. Next thing I knew, I was trapped in the TV. I kept on watching, and got mad at anyone who got in my way during the Replacements. On my first episode I laughed so hard I couldn't stop! The Characters are amazingly funny to me in every aspect, and it frequently gets to the point that the show isn't funny anymore, it's hilarious! The voice acting is unbelievably amazing, and I'd say that the plot worked out for my sister and me just fine. Wow, what have I been missing?!I want there to be a season four it's so good! Make the call, this Fall. Ahh, So catchy. Why not give it a go? It's worth it.
View More*Gosh awful. I'm not sure if you took the Lord's name in vain or not, but I feel the need to correct you. And I do agree with the lesson from the show, calling someone to make your problems go away. but it's for the fun of it! and some of the material is funny. but the moral of the show, in my opinion, is that you should be grateful for what you have. okay, so I've got 4 and a half more lines to fill and so I am just going to type randomness. Every time I think I'm closer to the heart Of what it means to know just who I am I think I've finally found a better place to start But no one ever seems to understandI need to try to get to where you are Could it be, your not that farYou're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing I need to find you I gotta find you You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me I need to find you I gotta find youOh yeah Yeah yeahYou're the remedy I'm searching hard to find To fix the puzzle that I see inside Painting all my dreams the color of your smile When I find you I'll be alright I need to try to get to where you are Could it be, your not that farYou're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing I need to find you I gotta find you You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me I need to find you I gotta find youBeen feeling lost, can't find the words to say Spending all my time stuck in yesterday Where you are is where I want to be Oh next to you... and you next to me Oh I need to find you... yeahYou're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing I need to find you I gotta find you (yeah) You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me I need to find you I gotta find youYou're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing I need to find you (I need to find you) I gotta find you (I gotta find you) You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me I need to find you I gotta find youYeah, yeah... View MoreTo start let me say this show is supposed to be stupid and silly. If you want something intelligent and intellectually stimulating perhaps you should be watching something other than cartoons aimed at a younger audience. These are for kids, and for the parents who watch them with there kids. That being said, the show is actually quite funny. The idea that for a small amount of money ($1.98 as stated in the intro) you could alter your surroundings or those who control it for the better...usually. The results are not always what Todd and Riley expect and sometimes the situation is made even more complicated if not much worse by the replacement "Adult" that is sent. Each episode is fairly short but a cartoony object lessons are played out in each one.
