This movie was so bad it was funny. I have not rated or reviewed a single movie until this piece of hot trash compelled me to take out my laptop and write this. I feel bad for the actors in this movie because they probably will not be able to find work if any agent views this.The acting was terrible. The movie jumped all over the place. The main guy 'Jake' just screamed swear words the entire time. I feel robbed of my valuable time. Please, PLEASE do not watch this movie.

The film opens with a mystery. Madison (Tara Holt) returns to her childhood home the day before it is supposed to be demolished in hopes of finding answers to when her mother murdered an infant. She takes along looting Izzy (Katrina Law) who may be her cousin or just a friend. Also is Jake (Bryce Johnson) her boyfriend and psychologist (no sense hiring 2 actors to make it ethical). Yes, the house is haunted and we eventually get some answers like what makes Sarah scream.The production uses jump scares, dolls without eyes, barking German Shepherds, contact lenses, and a voice distorter in order to create a tale that lacked character build-up. Katrina Law was the only breath of fresh air in the house as our other two characters lumbered along. It starts off interesting enough, but then we are trapped with a 3 man play.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Where can you start with this film lol I just laughed, its a shame cause it was the films art cover that interested me but its 2017 and i was so misled but no worries.darkness rising is a laughable horror film. its a simple story , a story where i could easily name the other films it has stolen ideas from.The characters have no real identity and really cant think of much else to say.if you are bored and want a lil chuckle, then watch it.If you want to watch a good horror then stay well clear of it.

ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES I have ever seen the movie was dark can't really see what's going on and the yelling just a mess think you need to go back to the drawing board. new actors. with the story line could have been a better movie and then it happened I just couldn't take it any more so never finish great big headache.
