I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

I decided to sit through a second draining hour and half film with those irritating identical twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and it turned out to be worse than the first. Basically twins Kylie (Mary-Kate) and Taylor Hunter (Ashley) have celebrated their sixteenth birthday and are now licensed to drive, and with their new Ford Mustang they know just where to go. Their destination is the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, and they are joined by friends Danny (Billy Aaron Brown), Jenn (Heather Lindell), Sam (Talon Ellithorpe), Lyndi (Holly Towne) and Toast (Jeff D'Agostino). Almost as soon as they have started their journey, stopping at a restaurant, mishaps are occurring at every turn, first with their car going missing. Then they have no choice but to board a plane, which takes them to San Diego, and they also get on a bus, but board the wrong one when it stops for gas, which makes them part ways. Eventually though, after meeting up in Las Vegas, they make it to Salt City on a private jet, but they are too late for the Winter Olympics, so they decide to create their own adventure. They go snow slope skiing, have a swimming pool dive bombing competition, and much more, so it turned out to be a very worthwhile trip for the girls and their friends after all. Also starring Alexandra Picatto as Charley Simms, Janet Gunn as Pam Hunter and William Bumiller as Gary Hunter. It was not just the twins that go on my nerves, it was pretty much anyone that opened their mouth with the most awful and cheesy dialogue, they were all stereotypes, and not even the sights of the places they go to could save it from being a boring comedy drama. Poor!

Well, you know my pain. I actually like the Olsen twins movies. I'm known for liking lots of incredibly awful movies people with actual brains could never stand. But if I couldn't take this one, I believe no-one can. I mean, pointless isn't enough to describe it. And I had to rate it 1. Because there's no 0, which the IMDb crew should consider changing!Anyways, I had hope in the first minutes. I like these foolish teen adventures, and a road-trip is a great begin. But let's see, be aware for the spoilers from now on: -Their car is stolen, and they act all like, "Oh, that's fine, let's go home and buy airplane tickets." What kind of parents are those? I know the "I'm glad you are alright, darling" type, but this... UNREAL, simply. -They buy tickets for a wrong destination. How can that be?! I mean, which company sells tickets without knowing the wanted destination? Oh, please. If they got tickets for San Diego, Santa Barbara or wherever was it, it's because they asked for it! -A stranger in a bar offers them a ride. And they take it, of course! Because every 16 year-old is totally empty headed. -Getting in the wrong bus in the middle of the road. Fine, I guess, if you're more air headed than me (and I'm 18, and I love the Mighty Ducks movies with all my heart - try to beat it). You wouldn't notice anything, right?Anyway, that's the good half of the movie. The actual "getting there" thing. The second part, when they get there... oh, I can't think about this anymore, it's sad, a waste of my money. This is not for 16 rich teenagers, maybe for rich 10 year-old spoiled wannabe popular-cheerleaders. At the most.Just DON'T WATCH IT. I read the reviews and watched it anyway. REGRET IT, I SHOULD'VE TRUSTED THESE PEOPLE! And please, tell me you will trust what you read here.

What can I say about this so-called "movie". Not only was it a waste of time, space, celluloid and money, I could actually feel my brain turning to ooze.Two main characters (without any character) with the charisma of a moldy potato and less acting-ability than Flipper.A few other tweens who apparently were just picked up of the street where this "movie" was being shot and no story or plot to speak of.When they hit the slopes (which they do in every conceivable way) for some strange reason the picture turns charcoal or out of focus and blue-ish (looks like it's done with cheap software on a PC by the janitor) and those bits are accompanied by bad music.This has to be THE worst "movie" ever. After seeing this monstrosity you will need the following list: 1. Clean out your eyes with an aggressive acid. 2. Demand your money back (even if you didn't pay). 3. Never again let your 12 year old niece decide which movie to rent (even she hated it and she thinks Lindsay Lohan is the greatest actor ever) 4. Burn the DVD/video to avoid further spread of this 5. Watch a good movie as soon as possible with real actors and a by director who is not deaf, dumb, blind AND stupid (prefarably something with Brando and/or directed by Coppola) 6. If none of the above helps to regain sanity contemplate a lobotomy, suicide, heavy drinking or entering an asylum.The most awful 85 minutes of my life !

The rest of you who will have seen Getting There by the Olsen twins will look at my rating of 5 out of 10 and think that's far too generous. I'm around the same age so I guess I can somewhat...sort of relate to the movie regardless of it's many downfalls.It was ridiculously cheesy and pointless to say the least but I think that any girl 15 years and younger would say that it deserves the Academy Award. The Olsen twins have been blessed with many things, good looks, drive, determination, just some of the many things that has helped them become multi millionaires (going on billionaires). Unfortunately, acting was not one of those blessings. I heard that even their fans who went out and saw this movie in theaters said that they were extremely disappointed with how it turned out and I can't blame them.If they pick the right movie, work with an acting coach and pick a good script, they could be amazing actresses. They have so many connections in Hollywood...why continue to star in these C level movie productions. I'd like to seem them star in something really provocative, possibly a drama or even step out of their character. Girls, just because your twins doesn't mean you have to be together in the movies all the time.To sum this up, if you are a 15 year old girl and younger, Getting There will definitely be the movie for you. As for the rest of us, I don't think there is far too much sympathy for the Olsen twins.
