Excellent, Without a doubt!!
If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

View MoreAmazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
View MoreI honestly don't know what people want from an indie film. The story made a lot of sense and it was a film that started slowly and didn't seem to go anywhere fast but the story develops gradually and with subtle, visual beats. An amazing atmospheric movie that was beautifully shot, well written and well performed.
View MoreLet's be clear from the bat, this isn't a zombie movie. The "Creatures" are more like 28 Days Later (2002) and are't undead merely affected by a virus. This dark gritty tale follows a young woman alone in the forest playing survivalist living off the land in order to survive the outbreak. Everything becomes more complicated however when she takes in a young girl and her stepdad. This heavily reminded me of The Survivalist (2015).Every once in a while the movie will cut to flashbacks giving us insight into her past and how she wound up alone but at no point did I find myself empathising. The movie though realistic simply isn't exactly gripping and though I was impressed with what they had accomplished this sadly wasn't entertaining.I appreciate this is a lot deeper than most films of it's type, but depth means nothing if you find yourself overwhelmingly bored. The Good: Very well madeThe Bad:Writing is patchyIncredibly boringSimply couldn't care about the charactersQuestionable endingThings I Learnt From This Movie:I'd be an awesome survivalist, if I could have high speed internet
View MoreI came into this film expecting low-budget, maybe-entertaining, zombie cheese... instead I walked away horrified at the human condition and its capacity to absorb emotional suffering. Here Alone is a slow burner, with little (but some) gore, and not too many traditional scare moments... it focuses on the humans in the movie, the human condition in general, and it's the better for it. Kudos to the entire crew of this modest-budget movie... they've done something special here.
View MoreThe characters may have been relatable but the relationships were not. The male character was poorly developed. He wanted to hit a tree with a rock? Is he 12? Why would he offer himself as bait? The ending was vague. She left with the girl? Were they both zombies? Were they Thelma and Louise?
