Fantastic!

Taraparain

Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

No this isn't as mediocre as you're thinking. It isn't. No it's not just another cheesy Hollywood comedy with dense jokes that's all about car-oriented action scenes and a pretty girl. I for example know nothing about cars and don't appreciate by the number American comedies and I really enjoyed this. If anything the title does the film no favors.Dax Shepard, the male lead, actually does surprisingly well as a writer and director. Better than you'd think. In one word, this comedy has great 'balance'. The humor is centered a lot around contemporary social issues like political correctness and its abuse, and Shepard gives in a really good shift of managing to expose the silliness of the whole debate while not really piking any side outright and juggles well with both positions in a way that's properly comedic and fun. The character played by Bradley Cooper is characteristically hilarious in that same sense, he's this tree-hugging eco-friendly extremist psycho who acts as a spoof and as proper plot material at the same time. Some scenes are genuinely funny, a couple proper hilarious, and all in all it's very well paced, very well constructed, dialog as explained is witty and balanced (not too cute, not too thick), the characters are funny and believable despite being like comic book characters, and there's good attention to detail, everything is spelled out or made totally obvious.Very pleasantly surprised: 7.5/10.

Okay, this is my first time reviewing a movie on IMDb and that's how much I liked this movie, enough to come here and tell people to watch it. 6.1, really? This movie deserves so much more! I don't wanna give away anything. It's very different from everything I've seen. I absolutely loved the writing and the directing for this movie. Dax Shepard did a superb job with everything. The dialogs are so sharp and witty and fun and everything is great in general. I sound like a big fan girl and I have to say that after this movie, I really am now. Man, the soundtrack is on point! Also, the cast is amazing. I had no expectations whatsoever for this despite being a big Kristen Bell fan but I ended up loving everything about this movie. Go see it! Good job, Dax!

If not for the (judicious use of) vehicles, watch it for the great cast, mostly witty humour and the soundtrack. Tom Arnold is, as always, a perfect slapstick distraction, and the car is as hot as the girl.Dax has got his finger on the pulse with this cool throwback to the classic cool-guy-with-the-car movie. Funny with great filming and incredible (CG not required) stunts. The dialogue keeps you entertained. There is some hilarity.. and as far as characters, this film has got them all. The cool dude, the cute girl, the jerk, the comic, the villain, the ex, the ultra cool Beau Bridges. The car chases are as cool as the tunes that accompany them, and the sound FX are spot on.If I did have to pose one question, it would only be about the abilities of other less than competent drivers to be able to keep up with the 'professional' driver..I recommend it often.

This movie is inappropriate for basically anyone. It had pornographic comedy which had nothing to do with the storyline. Its storyline is basically that this guy has a hit on his head and has to leave town before a guy he rated out to the cops finds him, and of course he cant go talk to the marshals looking out for him. The movie is almost like the main characters who are boyfriend and girlfriend in real life decided they don't see each other enough lets make a movie together. The comedy is okay and if the movie would have been better written then it could have been a huge hit, and also have been rated pg-13. The movie is not even relatively realistic. If a girl found out that her boyfriend is in witness protection, and that there is a maniac and his girlfriend out to kill her boyfriend. she isn't ganna jump in the car and say go baby go.
