I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

I was waiting for this movie to release as its trailer had released way back in the month of June. The movie had released with a lot of anticipations from the movie buffs. As soon as the movie released a lot had been said regarding its climax and indeed the climax was surprising,it was.something I had never seen before and much ahead of time as per the Indian people standards.Talaash is one film that has stayed with me and has made a lasting impression on me due to its great storytelling, certainly its a rare gem which not all people would like.Talaash is definitely a movie which should be appreciated for its unique script 4 stars for Talaash

For the first time I've seen an Indian movie so overrated on IMDb. Idk how?....well I guess even I gave it an extra pt. Maybe cause of.....well seriously idk.Amir,Rani, Kareena all are good... but the thing is they are just 'good'...the movie is too dark and too slow too handle... there are scenes which seriously cud better be cut off.Idk watching too much Hollywood is it... or what? But at least I found the story dull and predictable... there was a mess u wanted to touch the supernatural, cud have done it better that whole writing the letter...uh duh!...c'mon give me something. Then there was this whole murdered prostitute who seeks revenge thing...aaagh again too boring and repeated n number of times in various cinema. And buoy oh buoy I'm still trying to figure out why the hype with all the performances... Amir din't do an extraordinary job (playing the poker faced cop except for the last shot), and same goes with Rani (same old same old depressed mother and desperate housewife :p)...Kareena's expressions seemed to impress but the dialogues ugh!!! Huh in short... Nice try! Not-so-thrilling Chills! So-so story! Cud have done better! Not really 'out-of the world' performances! Everybody was just acting as if they were acting for god sake.

I went to see Talaash with an open mind. Hoped Aamir and crew would have something for me. Furthermore, I wanted to see what Katagi had to offer after her fabulous debut!Aamir is good, as alwaysI wish there was more of Rani Mukherjee in the film, she was her character, but wish there was more of her. Rajkumar seems like the next big thing; he's calm and silent.. kinda coolHowever, it is Kareena Kapoor who steals the show with her cheesy lines, mischievous eyes and subtle look.. A good film after her incredibly touching and funny Honeymoon Travels! glad i saw it..

I knew the suspense already but it did not spoil the fun for me. It is perfect execution with no non-sense and no unwanted scenes. All three leads Aamir Khan as sincere cop, Kareena Kapoor as call girl and Rani Mukerjee as hurt wife give their hundred percent and amaze you with their charisma and talent. Special mention for Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays a key role and tops all performances. He is the one actor in the range of Om Puri and Nseeruddin Shah. Great music and back-ground score. It's Reema Kagti's second movie but she executes the subject with utmost sincerity, utter conviction and full control. Yes, I also did not buy the surprise like many others but apart from the climax everything seems so just perfect.
