The show is amazing, the actors have great chemistry, the plot is awesome and the end? OMG.

Not many shows these days grab me & I'll admit 2 things got me to watch this - Greg Berlanti involved & magic but wow from that first episode I was hooked. Couldn't wait to watch each new episode & must admit since the shocking news that ABC pulled the plug so suddenly I have rewatched each episode over & over & still keep finding new things to make me smile & enjoy. As many have said it was a family show - even though it involved a police procedural it was not overly violent & there was a fun element within the show plus showing us how a deception can happen was fun. Admit I have learned so much about this unknown group of actors (only knew of Vinnie from previously) but I am now a firm follower of them all. Thank you Jack Cutmore-Scott for showing your diversity. Still so sad that this show is no more - It's not fair the good shows get dropped & we are left with the grotty ones to watch.

I was a little late to the Deception party. While visiting some friends, they had me watch it and I was caught...hook, line, and sinker. I adore a mystery and cop dramas are my favorite genre of television. So when the season ended and I learned it wouldn't be returning. I was crushed. ABC, a channel I watch very frequently and enjoy many of the their shows, has cheated us all out of what could be a fun and exciting tv show. Im realistic enough to know that this probably isn't one that'll go one for a dozen seasons like other shows of similar genres, but at least let the writers have a changed finish telling the dang story. Don't pick up a show that you KNOW will end on a cliffhanger and then not bring it back. That's just not cool. I crave the rest of this story. The characters are fun and I think they all have really interesting backstories. But we never got to know about them. Gunter, one of the supporting characters, had his past teased to us but I want details. I want these characters and their relationships go be fleshed out. They deserve that much. We deserve that much. ABC, if you're reading this, let them at least finish the story. Let us get to know the characters before they have to leave. Give Deception another chance.
