From my favorite movies..

an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This show was sooo good! I'm only sad that waiting for season 3 is taking to many years to come out

This is a fine example of British Film Making. The two seasons are both brilliant particularly in writing believable characters and terrific editing. Lots have been written about this series and all true. This should be up there with some of the best from Britain.

The best series I have ever watched, yes some parts are quite intense and a bit brutal but the contrast between Tommy Lee Royce and the cops only leads you to wanting to watch more, brilliant acting set in such a realistic way that it could happen anywhere. I think they will have to let Tommy out of prison in season 3 to keep up the drama ! wish I did not have to wait so long ! the contrast between the good cops and bold characters was done brilliantly, The main cop, being a female and tackling to bring down Tommy is very clever and the impact of the son we almost see a different side to Tommy that was not shown in the first few episodes! all of the characters are so naturally played, Even though Tommy is in prison we still know there is trouble down the line as the son is writing him letters which keeps the story going! i cannot wait until the third series !
