Beautiful, moving film.
Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
View MoreThis is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
View MoreDidn't ION Television learn from Flashpoint?Canadian based shows do not work in the USA especially along side ION Television current line up of Leverage, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, CSI and NCIS:LA. The more it's on, the more I hate it.ION TV basically took Friends, MacGyver and Magnum PI strained out the weapons and put it in a telepod out came this steaming pile of moose poop that gives you diabetes!I'm surprised ION TV could afford to get William Shatner
View MoreThere are not enough light-hearted detective shows these days, most are grisly, depressing humorless stories that omit the reality of a very present dark humour acquired by real detectives. Maintaining your humour while being a detective is a survival technique employed the world over, because meeting the nasty side of life can be pretty depressing if you don't throw humour at it. This show keeps things light which is refreshing and all the characters reflect humour in a natural manner. Keeping the story lines interesting has been achieved but making them intriguing with more guesswork required by the viewer needs work. An entertaining show with likable characters makes this show worth watching.Story development has the potential to make this an even better show if it generates more complex plots. Cast talent is as good as it gets.
View MoreI'll be honest and say watched the first episode purely out of curiosity as to what had become of my favorite Beverly's Hills fella! This series has really grown on me, and whilst there's the stereoptypically him/her banter I am thoroughly enjoying a show that has interesting plot lines, well rounded characters and is not too much like 'hard work'
View MoreI'm not jumping on the 'Castle-lite' bandwagon. Had IMDb not killed the forums, you'd see that I started it after episode 1 of season 1 screened. In fact Private Eyes makes Castle look like a gritty police procedural, and without the charm of Nathan Fillion to help it along. I had it down as a cert to be cancelled after one season. But it wasn't, and I'm happy about that. It was and still is an entertaining and undemanding watch. It knows its place and that it will get a loyal audience.A word of caution to the team behind the show. Learn from Castle. The two leads must never get together.
