Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

I remember reading this book hundreds of times when I was younger and I have just recently seen this movie, I have to say I was disappointed. They changed the characters completely and instead of having two sisters and a brother going to stay with their uncle they made one of the sisters a grumpy American cousin going to stay with her recently remarried dad.This changed the whole aspect of the story and I was immediately annoyed.I watched the whole thing in hopes of some redemption and I have to admit it had its good moments but it definitely lost out on some wonderful humour between the sisters and brother.This series works if you have never read the books but if you grew up with and loved the books do not watch this.
