SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
View MoreA brilliant film that helped define a genre
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
View Morewhat a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
View MoreThis is the first show which captivated me in the first 5 minutes of its start. Jeff was very convincing in his role. The part which I loved the most was the romance between Will and Mac. Their banter was very enjoyable, funny and also touching. And the criticism of news also felt totally right. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and an informative show which moved my heart.
View MoreThis was the single best written, and most enjoyable show that has ever graced television. The drama throughout is beautifully handled and progresses in a way that is truly captivating. It is a crying shame that this show was cancelled. The world was a better place with this show on TV.
View MoreI wanted to like this show, I really did. But I noticed that with each episode, it became more and more clear that Aaron Sorkin thinks his audience is either extremely liberal or extremely naive. The show is supposed to be about a news program trying to reinvent itself by focusing on "truth" as opposed to "ratings." Then it proceeds to bash Republicans and the Tea Party throughout entire first season.I'm neither a Democrat nor Republican. But while watching the show, I get a sense that Aaron Sorkin is engaging in a very sad attempt to brainwash me, which kinda kills it...-- UPDATE --I decided to watch Season 2 and it seemed to be far better, until it was revealed that the entire Season 2 was merely a sad attempt by Aaron Sorkin to blame Benghazi on a fictional event he created as opposed to Hillary Clinton's failures as SOS.*sigh*
View MoreWe actually need this back badly (not "bigly", though if that word existed that too). It's 2017 and especially season 1 resonates more than well and could've fitted right in. Anyone could predict the direction things were taking, but both parties could not stop it. For better or worse America has a president now who'd accuse the Newsroom of being Fake News. They're not (mostly that is) and they actually have something to tell. The show is more than well written and sometimes slips into straight out comedy (almost stand up situations), but it works well ("welly"?). The very first season and especially the very first scene is amazing and warrant a 10/10. The following 2 seasons fall shorter, not by much (unless you count the number of episodes in each) but that's why I decided to go with 9/10. Still more than amazing and maybe one of the best shows made in the 21st century. If you don't mind it's very "talky" mindset, you will love it
