Such a frustrating disappointment

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Don't compare Rob Zombie's Halloween to John Carpenter's Halloween. First off if you watched Rob's previous films you'll understand his take on violence is over the top. This rendition of Michael Myers is alot different from Carpenter's. This Halloween shows why Michael became the evil menacing monster he always was. Were as John carpenter's halloween gives you no explanation on why Michael is so evil the only explanation we do get is from Dr. Loomis. Now from a logical standpoint there is some parts of the film that make no since but its easy to look past them. But it's a very different take on the story Michael Myers so don't compare it to the original. Rob Zombie's Halloween it is own movie and its a great movie just not for some.

The main idea, from Halloween (2007), is that perfection is when a limitation has the power to move around reality without inflicting violence. A limitation is destruction, and therefore a destruction can move around without causing violence. A destruction that moves around without creating destruction is a peace that's stationary by creating peace - a stationary peace due to the creation of peace. The creation of peace is the action of peace. The action of peace is the movement of peace. The movement of peace is a non-movement. A non-movement creates a stationary nothing.A stationary nothing is movement. A non-movement creates movement. The basic point, of the remake, is that reality is the creator of the supernatural

Horrible actors...are you serious? This is embarrassing to even try and stomach your way through. What an utter insult to John Carpenter and Debra Hill. This mess is a who's who of washed up and wanna be actors. The story is ridiculous.. a dysfunctional family? How Psych 101! Very low end high school project work here. A spoon fed script written for an audience of low intelligence. I mean go ahead and rent it for "stupid movie night" for laughs. Apparently the director needs to stick to shtick music and leave classics to the classics.
