Just perfect...

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

This movie makes you feel like you're listening to an audio book. There's a horrible narration of the movie. We turned it off after 20 mins of a plot that was not going anywhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely film. Mom's Night Out tells the story of a Christian family with three young children. The movie focuses in on the parent's (especially the mom's) difficulties with parenting. With such a boring-sounding scenario, this film is quite a surprise, with plenty of hilarious predicaments and characters. One of the most refreshing aspects of this movie is that it is a Christian film, but it doesn't feel like they're ramming the religious message down anyone's throats. In fact, the religious themes tend to stay in the background. The actors do a superb job, the writing is clever, and the relatable, real-life experiences these characters face will strike a chord with everyone. I do personally think this film goes downhill a bit in the middle section (the circumstances seem a bit unrealistic, and a few characters fall into stereotypes), but I honestly can't complain too much. I would highly recommend this movie to just about anyone, especially families with kids.

This is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. Granted, I've missed the classic worsts by paying attention to reviews, so I confess I've never seen Gigli, Showgirls and Glitter. But this one caught me off- guard. I love Patricia Heaton, our hometown girl, love Sarah Drew from Gray's Anatomy, have always loved Sean Astin and have recently come to love Alex Kendrick but, even with all that going for it, I have wasted my day with this one. I never allowed my son to watch Barney, even though every other kid was watching and singing along. And that's for the same reason I'm begging you to avoid this one: nothing but time- wasting, brain cell killing fluff. The ending was tender, but we knew it was coming. Wish I hadn't had to pay with my life to get there. Not funny at all. Stupid is never funny to me. Stay away.

This was not funny for me at all. I think most of the humor is from smart people being stupid and hysterical. There is also very little that seems sweet to me. The part where Allyson painted her wall is sweet.I recommended this to my mother and she gave up on it after about a half an hour. The only good part is Sarah Drew. Her character was not amusing but she is always worth watching.I hope most people enjoy this movie, I hope my experience is not representative of most people but I sure don't understand why so many people think it is very funny and sweet.
