Time After Time Audience Reviews

Protraph Lack of good storyline.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Cissy Évelyne It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Mike Boyd It just keeps getting worse and makes less and less sense every episode.I liked the start of the series as it showed the machine and how people travelled to the future, but when they had both arrived in the future it was just another good guy chasing bad guy type of story. But even then, the bad guy with his hostages followed the same silly and predictable story lines. When one hostage manages to escape by whacking Jack over the head and knocking him out, the story gets sillier and sillier. What would you do if you just knocked someone out and they started to come round before you had freed the other hostage? Answer: you'd hit him again. So why didn't this silly hostage hit him again? Who knows. So Jack gets up and she's a hostage again. So silly. Bye. Switch channel.Oh, and those ridiculously over-done "English" accents are a turn-off too.
Silver1973 Totally loved the show. Bummer that it got cancelled only after one short season. I do agree with other commenters that they should have made things a bit more complex for Wells and the Ripper to adapt to the 21st century. I was surprised to read that it didn't get great ratings as a show. I found it to be spectacular. Then again I'm a major Sci-Fi fan. But all in all it was an awesome show.
treefairy2 it was good till half way thru the first episode. the lead chick said she was a good strong independent women. she even clobbered ripper over the head with a cement bowl to escape with the other hostage. but then they get caught in the stair well and the door is right there, shes 5 feet away and he said if you leave she dies. she puts her tail between her legs and goes back upstairs. I'm sorry but in real life, that chicks dead because we would have went thru the door. when she went up stairs i deleted it from my pvr..
steve_r-1 I actually quite like this program- it's entertaining enough, the acting is surprisingly good and the premise isn't bad (the movie is excellent). There is some massive flaws though H.G and the Ripper have both adapted to the twenty first century as if they've only jumped 5-10 years not 129!!!! In the first episode John went to the pawn shop as if he'd been at one many times before and seemed to already know what his pawn was worth in the 21st century. They had no problems with mobile phones, laptops etc and worst of all recognised round security cameras that were designed to look like lights!! Hmmm is all this stuff standard in 1888?? The guys also seem a little too clean cut for 19th century men looking like they've just finished surfing at the beach. If you want to turn off your brain and not think too much about these things then you'll enjoy yourself otherwise it'll set your OCD into overdrive oh and did I mention that the woman who plays Jane just happens to be the most gorgeous woman on TV?? No?? Well she is!!!
