    Captivating movie !

    Siflutter

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Watching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.

At first: Excitement! A cool franchise, original cast, Tim Kring - what could possibly go wrong?Well.. a lot.Being an avid fan of "Heros", loving it for the consequent comic panel shooting style, really "close to heart" characters, balanced scripting and its refusal to black/white schemes... I really got my hopes up when "Reborn" hit Amazon Prime.Even though the original suffered notably from the strikes of the writers guild from season 3 on - it never got as bad as Reborn is.Cheap CGI, cliché characters, desperate trying to cling onto the remainders of the original feeling by confining whats left of the old cast into their old roles. Adding see-through conspiracy theory background doesn't help the plot and so don't all the beatings, fist & gun fights. Hardly 5 minutes without someone being beaten, strangled or shot at, for no obvious reason. There are no surprises here, nothing that's capturing your imagination and no "George Takei flashing a NCC-1701 license plate"-moments...Rewatch "Heros 1-3" instead and you're better off by far.

well i always wait for new season of Heroes comes and see the Heroes TV series Twice , great and new idea , stories , characters and good actors i cant explain how i was happy about coming new season of this but honestly Heroes Reborn is very weak version of Heroes and if a person not see the old seasons and had not good memories about it , maybe he stop to watch this after 3-4 episodes weak story just compare and search for one big and attractive characters and powers like tik tak of watch of Sylar or the power of stop time by Hiro , or charming characters like Nikki and Claire , you cant find one , also the old characters like hiro and Matt have not the same cute characters because of story and scriptweak actors you cant compare the new actors and their characters like Luke ,Tommy, Quentin , Malina and miko with old characters and they act like Claire, hiro, ando , Emile Danko , Niki Sanders, sylar and ... weak Special FX i don't why but after 6 years The Special FX that is very important in TV Series like this is weaker than before !The power of Malina , the fire of Luke, the power of darkness all of them is too fake and amateur , even the 3d scene of miko when she go to game world looks design by some 12 years old 3d artist Saving the world with these powers and with these 2 brother-sister characters that have not any hero or special character during whole of episodes is another wrong choice for make Heroes attractive really not necessary to stop big happens like apocalypse by two young and amateur characters anyway i think Tim Kring not came back with some new great idea , he calculate budget and potential , then he choice actors and how this season must goes in story and FXat end i'm not regret to see this series cause i'm always be a fan of Heroes . I just know that Tim Kring & his team could make this completely better and make it suitable for all ages, if ask me i say this Season is nice for 8-18 years old

If ever there was a reason for the 'off button' on a TV, this is it. First the script...well...it would have been nice to have one...unless you count pointless yelping as script. If that is the case...then it was breathtakingly brilliant. Each character had a chance to scream on their own...solo-like (acting? maybe?). Un- surprisingly, these were the most important part of the program. Why you ask? Great question. This awful screeching kept me awake. Apparently the entire plot was based on the silly yelping (follow me? No? That's OK, neither do I). I am only kidding about what the plot was based on...it really was based on nothing. There was nothing to it. I usually enjoy a standard story. Good triumphs over evil..you know...formulaic. I usually prefer stuff that is formulaic - it just makes things easier. I am no movie/TV snob, I don't have the time sine I work for a living and have a life outside of mommy' basement. Why should I sit down and dissect what some arrogant director is trying to get across (I.e. The Birdman). Keep the storyline simple and easy to follow. No worries with this 'Heroes' thing. There was no message...hidden or otherwise to get across. I am being a little tough on the show. The cast is pretty youthful, so I am guessing the show is targeting the pre-teen crowd...which is great. I just wish they hadn't taken the name of a successful program and repackaged it as a young kids' show. Not my cup of tea, belongs with the early morning cartoons.

I was a MASSIVE fan of Heroes throughout its original run. I thoroughly enjoyed all 4 seasons and was still watching it religiously after 90% of people had jumped ship by the end of Season 4. I picked up & read every little bit of information that would add to the lore & immersion of the Heroes universe & just simply loved the whole concept. So when Reborn was announced I was overwhelmed with excitement, but at the same time I was very, very cautious as to how and if they were going to be able pull it off, as historically reboots are often complete flops. Knowing that Noah (played by the excellent Jack Coleman) was returning gave me at least some peace of mind as he was the anchor of the whole show, but I still went in to the premiere will extremely low expectations. That being said, even with these low expectations, I've come away after 13 episodes feeling HUGELY disappointed, and absolutely LIVID with the finale. The show failed in pretty much every category it could fail in. The writing was awful. The actors were poorly directed. The script was shocking. The pacing was ludicrous. The CGI was absolutely cringeworthy. The character arcs were laughable & character development in itself was virtually non-existent - which resulted in literally no reason to passionately care about any single person unless they were a well developed character from the original series. Every now & then there were glimmers of what made the original series so great, and the June 13th two-parter was simply superb. But on the whole, if Reborn was a standalone series & it didn't rely so heavily on people clinging to nostalgic memories of the original, then I don't think it would've managed to retain even a fraction of the viewership that it ended up holding on to.As much as I absolutely adore the Heroes Universe and the original characters, Reborn has to be the worst high-budget network show I have watched in my life. It is an insult to the original & Tim Kring should frankly feel ashamed of himself. If you're a fan of the original like me then for the love of Sylar stay away from Reborn. It will do nothing but taint your fond memories of the original series.
